I have one. A very good price. Here in Canada, I use my Vortex Impact 1000 for all. No matter, whether on the shooting range; camping, hunting, or even hiking in the woods. If, needed, the 6x zoom gives me a good look at any dangers I might encounter while alone in the woods before I'm seen. In fact, it's already saved my life from a bear, when I saw this bear before it saw me. Carried the rangefinder ever sense. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Crossfire though. I'm not sold on the idea yet. Does it use the same CR2 Batt?

My impact definitely had a faster response time than my crossfire and like having both buttons on top of impact. Plus impact feels like a better image.
