With just a Livernois Motorsports PCM Unlock, and Performance Tuning with our MyCalibrator Tuner, we are able to see huge gains on the Jeep Gladiator, just like we did with it's JL/JLU cousin. These newest iterations of Chrysler's 3.6 Pentastar have a good bit of power being held back in their factory calibration, and with these changes, we are able to extract that missing performance, while adding in the capability to run a true flex fuel tune that allows OEM like self-adjusting capability to the truck. Simply fill up with any mix of E85 and 93 octane fuel, and the truck will automatically adjust the calibration for you to provide safety, power, and performance without the need for switching tunes.

Any increase in fuel mileage with a tune?
31% drivetrain loss? Wow! What matters is the delta. Wondering what are the gains for 89 octane.
Would this work with 18 jeep JL 3.6 ??
I need this in my life.
They're available for purchase ;-)
@@LivernoisMotorsports soon! I just talked to someone on your Instagram.
Idk if ill wvwn fit in that garage lol but how much would it be to tune my jlu? I'll probably pull up sometime. I run stock 87 like manual asks and would like to keep if possible. Liked the vid. Stay safe love and peace.
We currently have our JL pcm unlock/tuner/tune/bypass cable bundle on special for $645.99, normally priced at 870.99. we do offer an 87 octane tune but these respond far better to 91+ octane it usually ends up paying for itself but using the better fuel it becomes far more efficient.
Can the US Gladiators run E85 stock fuel system? E100? On the fence of trading my 5.9 6spd Cummins for a Rubicon Gladiator 6spd, a 5.0 King Ranch 10spd or keep the Cummins a little longer. Any advice welcomed. Also on the fence if getting the Rubicon going for the 6spd because FUN or 8spd because it makes sense? And then if going 8spd what inside do you have on Ecodiesels? I know they’re getting discontinued
Yes these can, the system has no issue with ethanol. E85 is the limit though. We personally prefer the 8-speed over the manual, but don't really dabble with anything diesel.
What type of mechanical work had/was done to that truck prior to tune or what is required in addition to hand held unit?
as with all 15+ chrysler, and 18+ chrysler specifically, it needed our PCM unlock service and programming harness. But there were no mechanical changes needed to the vehicle at all to do this. Only our calibration work.
My Q... does it Void any factory warranty? But real nice 👍
By the written letter of the law, it could. With that being said, we've never had an issue with a dealer honoring the warranty. We recommend being open and honest with them and ask up front before purchasing.
Does the Gladiator need any other modifications to allow it to take the extra ethanol? Like tubing etc
None at all
Since the ECU has the capability to adapt, is that something that needs be be enabled? My question is for example, if I simply increase the octane would I see any gains? Are the knock sensors very sensitive and add or remove timing as needed?
it can adapt to compensate for some difference, but it's reactive. Meaning it has to have a problem first, before it tries to correct the problem. Leaving a chance for issues.. So running higher octane fuel than the tune is made for won't really add power, but won't hurt anything, but lower could be an issue. It is only adaptive for ethanol content, not octane, once we tune it.
Thank you for the explanation!
Do you have to unlock the pcm to get the tune or is that just for other manufacturers only
We do have to unlock the pcm, and do that in house!
Will this work on 2019 grand Cherokee V6? Ive read your reviews on recommendation for premium fuel for the Gen 2 pentastar with the higher compression
We do offer tuning for these, but not flex fuel. The 93 octane gains are near identical on them.
@@LivernoisMotorsports good to know. I been using 89 and it does feel smoother during acceleration. So many people are dead set on regular now a days.
Does any of this apply for high altitude like Denver Colorado?
The power numbers would differ, but you would still see the same approximate percentage of gain.
@Livernois Motorsports & Engineering would y’all be able to unlock my pcm it’s a 2017 Dodge Challenger hellcat? If so how much would it cost?
Indeed we do and it runs $175 currently

Will there be a MyCalibator Tuner for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator? I own a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave edition? Regards, Martin Vela
Yes, we've been working on 21 already and even have some beta testers.
@@LivernoisMotorsports Beta Testers, interesting. I'm in West Texas, so too far from your facility to be a beta tester. My Mojave is all stock at this time, but I have ordered size 35x12.5 tires with 17x8.5 wheels that should arrive by next week. So looking forward to the tuner. Regards, Martin Vela
@@martinvela1525 It should not be much longer before it's fully released.
When are you gonna have a tuner for the gladiator 3.0 eco diesel?
It's on our list of ones to explore and evaluate for sure!
@@LivernoisMotorsports any update on gladiator 3.0 eco diesel tuner?
@@cajunoverland7861 Diesel will be a long ways off as we only release diesel once fully emissions tested
Insane amount of gains from tuning. It's impressive. A CAI could push it into 300 possibly.
This truck actually had a Cai and exhaust on it for the baseline.
Will it work for a 2021 jeep gladiator mojave
Only if you have the older style computer, unfortunately mod year 2021 Chrysler started having to switch to a new style computer to continue producing these. If you do have that newer style, tuning is not possible on this.
Would it work for a 2021 jeep Gladiator
The 2021 is in beta testing and will be released soon!
Do you what specific countries have their Gladiators running up to e100? Thanks
We do support these as well
@@LivernoisMotorsports I saw that you said in another comment that the stock fuel system components are rated e100 in other countries. Do you know specifically what countries this is? Thanks
@@Z71__ There's more than one. But Brazil is the most famous for this.
Can the stock fuel system components handle e85?
Absolutely! These are actually e100 rated in other countries and they use the same components!
@@LivernoisMotorsports Oh cool! I didn’t know that!
@@nitroxide17 No problem!
Hey, maybe I missed something in there somewhere...can you tell me how it's a gain of 55 pounds torque when the graph shows 210 for the lowest run and 230 for the highest run?
most of the gains on these happen before and after peak power, which matters far more than just the single data point for "peak". If you look at the torque curve, the stock curve falls off dramatically, while ours carries all the way to the limiter, so you have gains throughout the entire RPM range. That is where the power and torque comes from.
@@LivernoisMotorsports while I understand total area under the curve gained is far more important (as well as rev limits being raised with adjustments to allow a continued rise in torque production), I feel that it’s a bit deceptive to the average joe who has no idea what they’re looking at when reading a dyno graph for you to just say +55 tq!!!!!!! I saw that and said wow that’s quite the gain, then I paused the video and studied the graph to see that it isn’t really a 55 pound gain overall and was very disappointed that many people who don’t know better would think they’re getting something they weren’t. That said, it’s still very impressive what you’ve done and I’d be quite happy to pay for that. 😃
@@이정우0812 we would have a counterpoint to say that more people would feel the large gain everywhere in a more meaningful way, than just something in a small range. One of the biggest complaints we hear on the 3.6 is it's very peaky in terms of power, this makes it so that it has great power throughout the entire range.
@@LivernoisMotorsports yes, your counterpoint is exactly the first thing I said in that last reply. Total area under the curve gained is far more important [than a single point gained]. Once again, it was impressive that you pulled so much out all over and I, like the other sheep you mention, would be totally happy with the power all over the complete rev range (total area gained under the curve). I pull a 6000# camper through West Virginia mountains and would love just a little more oomph to maintain speed.
@@이정우0812 This should definitely help you with that then!
Hey, maybe the Dodge Caravan as some hope. Well done on the 3.6
this 3.6 is a new, updated version, and while we can get some good gains on the older model, this one responds much better to tuning!
@@LivernoisMotorsports can we order this with a new unlocked PCM, that way if I have to warranty or have my jeep serviced I can return it to stock?
@@sellickusa normally, we would say yes, you can order a new ECM, but they are VERY tough to get right now with the chip shortages. However, swapping the PCM has 0 impact on warranty, if anything that makes it worse since the mileage is stored in the ECM and it won't match anymore.
@@LivernoisMotorsports ok, thanks for the reply. I'm a GM guy, so I know they look for those time stamps and if they don't match the dealers/GM database..... warranty is gone. Also, with GM the mileage/odometer information is stored in the BCM and not the PCM/ECM.
@@sellickusa Some GM computers do have a redundant mileage counter in the ECM as well, but Chrysler stores it in almost every module.
How come the JL you guys tuned had around 225hp stock but the JT has 197hp?? 🤔
Great question! This had heavier aftermarket wheels and tires, and a 4.10 vs the JL having the stock wheels/tires and a 3.73. these both will negatively impact dyno readings.
Livernois Motorsports & Engineering thanks for the quick response
Chris McLaughlin no problem!
Livernois Motorsports & Engineering one more quick question what’s the difference between the tuners? One you send out the pcu? Can i just buy a tuner for my gladiator?
Chris McLaughlin If you're referring to the listing on our website, one is if you already have had your pcm unlocked by us for our software, and the other is if you haven't. Very few people would have our unlocked ecm and not have our tuner, but there's some rare cases where the tuner alone can be bought.
Mods list plz
This is our tuning, cold air, and cat-back. However, it had the cold air and cat-back already when baselined. So the gains are 100% from the tuning, and match the completely stock JLU we also posted.
Is there any chance a guy in Sweden could get help with this in any way?
I know people who tune cars for a living. My Jeep is a Gladiator Rubicon Launch Edition
Best regards, Tobias Lindgren
We do tune these for your market as well.
@@LivernoisMotorsports So do i need to send my cars computer over to you guys or is it possible to buy the gear necessary from you?
@@Botniasolutions We so have an option either way, buying new adds around 350-650 depending on which part number computer your truck needs.
warranty void?
This honestly depends on your relationship with your dealership, many are completely ok and support these calibrations.
Can it be tuned back to stock in case it's an issue
Jeep should be ashamed 😪 who's doing the calibration wtf i wonder if they were trying to get by CARB🤔
The reality is that newer engines are designed to be as efficient and power dense as they can, often making them so that they should be ran on high octane fuels, but since the masses won't put premium in vehicles (often even those that "recommend" premium) they have to pull power back a great deal to make it "safe" on low octane fuel. The positive aspect of this is it allows us to get greater gains when we tune them for higher octane fuel.
@@LivernoisMotorsports why would you pull power back in the low octane map 🤔 you shouldn't exceed your knock threshold anyway. And you already had a tank of 93 so it shouldn't have seen any know to revert from high octane to lower 🙄 just say they are dancing around the epa like vw🤣🤣 without special modes🤫
@@mauricedavis2905 We don't, but Chrysler doesn't use the same logic others do for high octane and low octane.
Bogus….BAD. Idea
And exactly why is this? It's definitely not "bogus" since we've had dozens of customers independently verify our results.
