@@nesq4104 Such a treat to have experienced Patti in her hay day. I cant even imagine what that could have felt like. My first concert was actually LABELLE back in 2008 when they reunited. I was 17. She was on fire then too.

@@tasiawood I was at the Miami labelle concert. Which one were you at. Her voice by 2008 was nothing compared to early 90s. Omg and I wish I was old enough to experience her in the 80s and 70s live or 60s lol

Arsenio Hall really changed the late night game with his show. People nowadays may not know but he deserves a lot of credit.
At 3:10, Patti was taking no prisoners!! Even Michael McDonald was in sheer awe!! Patti is a one woman hurricane!!!

Honestly, there are some artists who are completely unmatched & untouchable vocally. Patti is one of them! This womans voice is a force of nature!! The breakdown @ 3:10, I am in awe & shock!! I can't believe that the human voice is capable of this!!
She tore it tf up at that breakdown, Michael didn’t have enough energy for her she just took it and ran🙌🏾‼️
I was lucky enough to see the sound check prior to this taping while visiting a friend in LA. It was amazeballs. She is the real deal.

Actually, this from the summer of 1991, I remember my mom taped this episode. I gotta find that tape, this was one of the best "Arsenio" shows.
That was one of my favorite Summers,i was in my first singing group. Damn i miss those days.

1991 the year that Beautiful Queen came to town and blew us away. I went to the foot of the stage with rose in hand and she said whew come here baby.....she invited me onstage and we slow danced to Somebody Loves You Baby OMG. Love you forever Patti.
