  • David Motton puts the Volvo V60 T6 Recharge Plus - a plug-in hybrid estate car - through its paces in our tow car test.
Note: Volvo has now taken its estate and saloon cars off sale in the UK. Although you can no longer buy the car brand new, it’s still worth seeking out on the pre-owned market.

"climate to 20" or "I'm cold" will means eyes don't have to deviate from the road. My S90 had that and it works wonders.

What a pity Volvo has since decided to abandon the V-series estate wagons.

    Hmmm. V90cc owner here.
It’s 2WD in electric (only) mode then?
Not great for wintertime or rainy weather.
Did you say no spare tire?
I want a front and rear electric drive with ICE in place only to support powering a generator/charger when needed.

A bit too late maybe but it kicks in the petrol engine when needed for grip, and the separate electric engine basically acts as a differential lock which allows more grip than the normal awd
