I give it a 3 it’s nice but I feel like so many other hypershifts do the same color shifts you need to try more risky things like different color bases like yellows and reds and blues things like that cause I think those will have more outrageous looking outcomes

The coloring of the hypershift fits with an oilslick theme, I mean perfectly, seen these type slicks at my dad's garage after a rain
We have seen lots of cars and hypershifts on this channel, but this is first in recent memories that one is so fast on the transition but so smooth as well. 5/5. If you guys continue the double blind method switch it each project, for example in the next project Fonzie picks the pearl, and Gabe picks the base for example.

It's rare you see a subtle hypershift, but here one is and it's ridiculously boss. This color would look absolutely insane on something like an SL65 AMG Black Series - dark, menacing, but still colorful. 5/5

I absolutely love this double blind version. Maybe dedicate one car in the rotation for this experiment and when it comes time for that particular car to be dipped then do the double blind version. Just to keep things interesting. I bet you guys can come up with some crazy ideas. Some hit some miss but will be entertaining.
This is much better than expected 5/5. I cant wait to see more double blind projects. How about incorporating the other staff at dyc like you have done in the past but have 2 different employees pick the base and pearls. Gabe and Fonzie work so close i feel they can predict what the other will pick.
You know what would be fun, is a stripe of one hypershift with another type of hypershift on the rest of the car.

It’s almost like a subtle hypershift but with lots og color.
Like the secret idea where you both choose a base and a top coat. Thats how you discover those magic combos you would’nt think of trying on purpose.

like it a lot, reminds me of the oil spills on the floor that shine colourfully after rain or snow. ironically the base is called motoroil

5/5 i love this combo! I think we need to see more Motor Oil Base projects (cough (and also white based ones especially)). Also side note: do you keep this car just out in the elements and not drive it and only use it for the paint show haha? :) lol those brake rotors have seen better days haha. Love all you do! Can't wait to see more!

What’s the point of motor oil or white bases? White is the absolute WORST base for pearls (go watch the video where they did black and white split speed shapes), and motor oil is basically black, which is the ideal base for almost all pearls. The interesting bases are all other colors. Those are the ones that give you interesting results.
It never ceases to amaze ne how often you guys accidentally create colors so close to Mystic/Mystichrome.
4/5 from me just because the green/purple balance is too far towards the purple end of the spectrum for my tastes.
I love the dankness of the colors and then at certain angles that green practically glows! 4/5.

Came out awesome, you should do an All Blind Everything with your Employees, let a different employee pick each part 1 for car, another base coat, etc. Etc.....the whole expirement.

What I loved most about this is the fact that Gabe was being an absolute menace 😂😂😂 came out really good tho, definitely giving "motor oil" that oil spill look, which makes it an easy 4.5/5. Would have loved it to have more of a rainbow effect, but this was definitely an epic one, which begs the question, how would more of these double blind experiments turn out? 👀

Yo, this is probably the best hypershift you guys have done, in my opinion! The super "loud" colors and combos are awesome, and I love watching every video you put out. But as far as something I would actually have on my car, I'm into more "subtle" colors, this is actually one I would like to do!!! Awesome outcome again bro!!! Lovin it!

Oooooh... Ahhhhh... That's one helluva color. It's not absolutely crazy either. The shift is very smoove & subtle. An almost black and deep purple swag with a forrest green shift and hyper lime highlights!

5/5 from me too. Big fan of both those tones so this was always gonna score high with me. My rims have an oil slick finish (literally called Pearl) over silver grey that would really suit this body paint job. Love it!
