Even I was in the same situation and within 2 days my visa got issued. Don't panic if you all see the same as it is normal and it will get changed in a day or 2.

Your video provided great comfort. However, even after 11 days, the status or the status date has not changed since the last 11 days. When do you think, they will release the passport? Do you think they will come back asking for more information even after the VO had said during the interview, that the visa has been approved.

Hi everyone , kindly reply on this post ,as I gave my visa interview on 22 of this month during the interview visa officer asked me basic questions and he kept my passport but later I have checked in DS 160 it displayed that my visa is adjudicated and refused and undergoes administrative process and status will be changed accordingly ... Kindly let me know please what I have to do now is this a background verification or rejected kindly reply

Oh my lord, thank you for this video, I was very scared! I went to the embassy for my photos and fingerprints update, they told me an interview wasnt necessary , they took my passport and asked me how I wanted my visa if a card or stamped in passport, so I assume It was approved, but then i checked today the website and said refused so I got scared and confused. UPDATE: Even though I have had my B1B2 vIsa renewed twice, I received an email stating that I must attend a follow up interview at the consulate because they are requiring some documents. I will update, I have my follow up appointment this coming Friday

Hi! I am from Colombia and my husband from the United States. My interview was on July 23, 2021 and my CR1 visa application was Refuised, they kept my passport and told me that I had to fill out the DS-5535 form to continue with the process, 4 days after the interview I received the form by email and I sent it filled out but until today I have no response from the embassy, I have only been able to see three or four updates in Ceac.state.gov

I had my visa interview on April 7th, 2021. My visa was approved and my passport was retained. However, since then I have not received any update from the consulate and on the CEAC website, it shows refused. Does this mean they have put me under 221g? Also, is there anyone facing the same issue?
Don't worry I had the same issue it took them 3 weeks before I could get my passport, I later found out it was because most US embassIES AROUND THER WORLD don't have adequate staff BECAUSE OF COVID 19 that's why the visa process has been so so slow. yOU WILL GET YOUR PASSPORT BACK SOON DONT WORRY

Hello sir, I had a interview appointment on june 18. Due to public holiday( Federal Day) in USA , the embassy remains closed on that day. My appointment was rescheduled on june 21. I gave my interview on 21 june and i got my visa. After getting the visa, I received a paper in which it is mentioned that i have to create a account on that date. I didn’t create my account because my wife have already created her account because i am going in dependent. I have my appointment before june 18 too, it was cancelled due to some reasons. While, yesterday when i track my password it is mentioned that the visa is refused. I don’t understand why the visa is refused. What can i do for the further processing to get my visa.

Hi Abdul, consulate asked me to submit the passport after my 221g. I submitted the passport already to consulate. Do you know when they will issue in my case like how many days. So far 10 working days completed after submitting the passport. Please share if you have any experience like this.
There is not ETA on visa processing which is pending for 221g, so you have to wait as processing time is more now a days due to limited staff. you can drop an email to check the status.. But we can't do anything else other then waiting. Due to pandemic all this delay heppaning.

Its been a Month I submitted my documents under 221g .. visa categorie iR1 - still shows refused … I submitted documents at delhi cntr on june 8 and since then its shows refused the only thing changed is date and the current date says 9 june and I submitted documents on 8 june
You might still be going through administrative processing. Once it is done (it can take weeks - just a heads up) they will look at your documents and make a decision

my husband had his interview December 15 2023 and was refused; the interview officer requested additional information and we sent it right away. It’s been 39 days and CEAC still shows REFUSED so I reached out to my state senator and got back a response that she doesn’t believe our relationship is BONA FIDE! she didn’t take his passport at his interview but he dropped it off to ARAMEX. We’ve been together almost 5 years and married almost 2 and we provided more than enough sufficient proof of a real established relationship!!! does anyone have any advice??

@@youssefamzyane4800 we don’t know what she based her decision on, maybe her opinion of my husband was too strong for her but her personal opinion should not have interfered with the process! we had all the substantial evidence to prove our relationship and our marriage. being that the interviewing officers do not have any time to review the documents that are submitted about the person it’s solely on their own opinion.

This refused status is Default for all applications, but if you went through the drop box, it may be a different case. If you went for an in-Person interview and the officer told you your visa is approved and you see it as refused then you don't have to panic. If it was a drop box and status is refused, then you may have to wait for your passport to arrive, it will have more details. or check passport status, if your passport is shipped and status is refused means, your visa is refused. if passport status says its with consulate, you can wait for few days to check again.

thanks a lot for this presentation , I want to share my story and i need someone to answer me , I was in US.embassy 20 of July and I done the interview for US.C1 visa the consular ask me about my company name and the vessel name and my rank however he was holding al my paper and ask me again for Hr letter and the agent who will receive me once being on American land to deliver me to my vessel in port , he did not pick up my passport or tell me if i refused or accepted and give me white paper say that I am in administrative processing after 24 hr the embassy call me one phone to send my passport in SLS to embassy i do not know what should i do???
The consular officer said to me that everything was fine and kept my passport saying that they had to put me in administrative procedures, what does this mean? IR1, Egypt and he gave me a paper marking on administrative processing only!! (Nothing was missing)
They will reach you over email with additional document they want, keep checking your email.

My visa officer said approved. It showed approved on the portal for 4 days. Now it shows “refused”. I am confused but hopefully this is the same case as yours.

Hi Abdul, I have got my visa approved. On the next day, my status changed to Refused. After changing it to refused, I got an email in the next day morning stating that my visa has been refused under 221(g) and asked to fill a form of personal details for further processing. I have done the same and sent them back. Now did you also got same mail like me after the status change of refused or they just changed it to administrative processes directly without asking any form to fill up.

Do you know any solution to get approved it fast.
If it’s pending for 221g, you need to wait for processing. Due to pandemic most of consulate not functioning fully. So they might have lots of pending file to process which may take time.. but submit all the document requested by consulate and wait.. all the best

@@sharminchoudhury8865 Delay in 221g is caused by not providing the requested document, you need to provide exact the document which is requested.. if you do not provide you won't get reply. SO make sure you have provided requested document

I went to interview on 14 April and officer took my passport and said visa approved and gave me green paper to track passport. On the next day i checked visa status and it was refused. I am facing the exact scenario. My visa is approved by the visa officer but it's showing refused. I am really tense . Can anyone tell what the exact reason to show refused.

My f1 visa interview was fantastic. However, the visa officer informed me that my application will be under Administrative process and he didn’t mention the refusal, and he didn’t give me a paper, and told me no need for information and that I will receive an update within a week. I didn’t receive anything yet and they keep my passport. Is that a good indication and what should I do?

Hello sir, I had my interview on June 2 2022, on Immigrant visa, my step dad and my mom are in d u.s, but the consulate officer did not collect my passport, and my case is showing refused. But they are updating d date of my case status.....they said I will receive an email from them, but ever since then have not received any email... Almost 2 months now, they gave me 221g paper...what should I do?

I have cleared my F1 visa interview on 26th November. I didn't get any letter too. It has been 25 days my visa status is still showing refused. When I contacted consulate, they said my visa is under administrative processing. When asked how many more days it will take to get visa stamped. He said he have no idea. Can you tell how many days(maximum) it will take to get visa?

My status shows 'Refused' but the passport tracking status shows 'passport has been received from the consular section and is currently being processed for delivery.. I didn't understand anything here 😬

Due to covid multiple consulates is operating with limited staff, so based on number of application they wil process.. you may have to wait.

Hello sir , I have been applied for c1d visa.In the interview they have taken my visa and along with company letter and they told me that they will verify my company letter with company then only they will approve my visa. So I track my visa it is currently showing REFUSED. I had talk with my company they told me they have verify the letter with US embassy but still it is showing refused So what to do now please help me

Hyderabad Consulate for an F1 Visa. Got a 221(g) white slip but he kept my passport. Anybody knows what's up and how long will it take to get issued? My course is not under TAL and the VO said it'll take a couple of days.
No defined tine for 221(g), submit the requested documents as soon as possible and wait for processing.

@@AbdulRahman-rh8zn Hey, so if the Visa officer has taken your passport then don't worry about it. For others and for me personally, it took 3-4 days. It took my case 3 business days. Keep checking your status on the CEAC Tracker website. Day 1 shows 'refused', day2 shows 'Administrative Processing', and day3 shows 'Issued'. So all the best. PS: You will not get an email, you will have to check the status yourself.

Hello, i had my C1D visa interview on 25th of August and got rejected under section 214(b). The interviewer didn't even look at my documents properly and I got a refusal. She said we won't be able to proceed with your application this time. What do I do? I had all the company documents as well as my personal documents like PCC, Educational documents and many more.

Today onwards my interview was there in Mumbai embassy.....the consulate officer started my interview with some questions and I answered questions properly...... then he took my pasport.....but he instantly told me the ,,,,,,we need more times to make decisions on your visa, then give 221g form for Additional administrative processing.........my visa Status,,,,,,Refused,,,,,,,,. @@sailorhamid3489 don’t worry mine is under the same the consular took my passport and my employment letter I am applying for C1D visa as well, I have been watching and reading a lot of comments here bout the “administrative process” it’s not bad they are just going on your background info on your case,chances of us getting the visa is 90% I was worried awhile back but after reading that almost 90% of AP get approved cases I am at ease although it might take awhile before you can get your visa at the end of the day you will, pray some more be positive and in no time you’ll travel like you’re supposed to, Goodluck to both of us I hope you get the visa and I do as well,

I had interview on 22 Dec 2021,I had I-14-0 approval after interview Collected my passports and issued me a 221g ,after a week embassy sendmeaDS5535 question i response it and on 24 Jan embassy send email

Hello, I Attended my Interview on the 9th of June they told me my visa is approved and NO 221G was issued to me I was told my visa will be ready in 3 to 5 days, today is the 6th days (working days) I tracked it and I am only seeing Administrative Processing I am yet to get any sign of my passport to be returned, I AM SCARED AND WORRIED
