Yes, but the footage/audio was edited to make it seem like he was much more disruptive to the rally than it really was, making the timing funnier, etc. In reality Pence's speech continued uninterrupted and Borat was hardly audible to anyone that wasn't right next to him.

as I watch this movie back again after seeing it in late 2020, I see it very differently now
I see that it compares how american culture treats young women to how a 'foreign' culture, in this example kazakhstan, treats young women (note: I don't know so much about kazakhstani culture tbh srry).
the film shows us a metaphoric depiction of how a father may treat his daughter in a less 'civilised' country
however, throughout the film, many of the american people in the scenes show that they are completely happy to be abusive to women, such as:
giving daughters as gifts
purchasing a cage for daughters
completely changing their looks, personality etc to be a sugar baby
advise on abortions knowing that a father impregnated a daughter in a secretive way
sell their 'debutantes' at a ball for 500$
sexually attacking a young girl if her father wasn't there
(I know there are many other examples of fucked up ways of treating humans in this film, but I think these ones reflect the point of willingness to accept such terrible behaviour towards another human, especially a minor)
the ways that this film depicts the 'foreign' and 'uncivilised' cultures is not so distant from modern american culture. gross
pretty scary and disgusting shit, especially when you consider how many of the modern global elites have ties to jepstein, a well known pedophile, human trafficker, and financial fraud
the icing on the cake that is this film is when uncle Rudolph genuinely gets caught - keep in mind his close ties to the jepstein circles. crazy times, friends

😂 best part or Borat 2. First one was that Vanilla Face Scene at that Hotel! Yet, Biden Won 6.8 Million Votes and this Movie Sort of helped the 3-4 million that help swung the 2020 Election. Sasha Baron Cohen as Borat again kicked more ass than any in Hollywood doing this. Fun Fact: This movie caused over 150 File Complaints over the FBI in the Actor’s record than the first Borat! @@scuffediceposeidon9178 Actually, pretty much nobody in the movie outside of Cohen's and Bakalova's characters was scripted. That was the whole point of what they were doing; they planned out what Borat and Tutar would do, but all the other "characters" in the movie were not acting and did not know the filming was for a movie. This was a real stunt, the secret service most certainly weren't in on it, and Sacha was detained for some time before being released (he also managed to get out of revealing his identity to them).
Sacha has done numerous interviews where he talks about the methods of making this movie and scenes in it, including this scene and his detainment afterwards. I've found these interviews extremely interesting, as I'm amazed a whole movie could be made in this fashion.
I wish he really was our president. But only while wearing the fake Trump disguise.
