  • Fishrot accused Ricardo Gustavo will be released from custody if he deposits N$800 000 for bail, judge Herman Oosthuizen says.
Gustavo is accused of hijacking a state fishing donation meant for Angola worth more than N$150 million.
Gustavo will have to report to the police twice a day and will be confined to his home at Finkenstein Estate most of the day.
He may not come closer than 25km to the Hosea Kutako International Airport, closer than 1km to Eros Airport, and may be required to wear a global positioning system device so that his movements can be monitored 24/7.
He should report to the police twice daily, restricting him to his home and forbidding contact with witnesses and his co-accused in the Fishrot case.

This is a clear indication that our justice system is a failure in this country.....

I'm not surprised because other thugs are outside playing 'untouchable game'. There's no justice in Namibia, there are all only individuals who are behaving themselves. We're being led by thugs. How can you let this guy out on bail? If he can't afford eight hundred thousand dollars then he can pay three hundred thousand? What a hell is this ruling...

It's not only in Namibia it's all over Africa, look at Zuma his making a fool of South Africa justice system, and now his son wants to run for president, it's the people of Africa that knows those people are corrupt criminals, and they suffered because of those criminals, but they still vote for them, so I have no sympathy for them. 😉

  • @patrickwillibaldmushingwa371

Shuuu😓, Conditions are tight for N$800 000. It's still prison, God be with you... Honestly speaking no one knows the whole truth. But let justice be fair.
    Kind regards
