N$150m worth of fishing quotas went to Ricardo Gustavo’s company that does not exist

  • Anti-Corruption Commission investigator Andreas Kanyangela says that Namgomar Pesca SA - a company linked to Ricardo Gustavo - received fishing quotas totalling 50 000 tonnes (worth N$150 million) in Namibia, but it is not a registered company and was only used to get quotas for the benefit of the accused in the Fishrot case.
    He was testifying on the fourth day of Fishrot accused Ricardo Gustavo's bail hearing in the High Court.

    He would have run away yes, but he was not hold in prison for such a long time. He might think he will defend himself withouth knowing his case might goes this far as it is now.

    That lawyer is not making sense, althought he has strong tie to whk, once you decide to run away, a family doesn't matter. How many ppl lives abroad with no family lives with them.
    Lawyer is paid to represent him and his job is to defend him, so ... Mr Kanjangela do your job and dont mind of his lawyer.

    They deserve to be kept in prison till they are found guilty or innocent.
