11:14 Please don’t lump atheists into the idea of that we really“believe “ in this unseen thing. That somehow we are really just religious believers deep down. Love your work and enjoy listening to your takes on religion but atheists are not closeted religious folk.
You believe nothing created everything. That takes more faith than to believe an all powerful God created us. Atheism is a religion, don't fool yourself
@@witness445 That is a purposeful misconception and lack of understanding. There was something, we just have no idea what it is, what it looked like, or even the style of physics it worked on. But saying that it was a “god” is jumping to concussion in order to not feel fear. We need to be comfortable with the phrase “ I don’t know, let find out”. That is how we grow and improve. But that sort of humility is hard for many people. Being ok with ignorance in order to find truth is a step on the Path or Wisdom. At the moment we don’t have all the answers and that’s ok, we can find out.
I get friend, seeing those that are post-faith is hard. Seeing those stepping out of darkness is hard to understand. In fact I do have religion, call the Sapient Path, it just has no faith or god. Centers on the better meant of humans thru knowledge, understanding,empathy , math, science and wisdom. So you are right-ish but probably not in the way where thinking.
