Its only been 8 months since the cliffhanger you left us on haha. You should totally continue that story soon.
FOR REAL I'm still waiting
That series got me through some rough days. Librarian's the perfect person for this game
wdym cliffhanger? it says [FINAL] in the title
czcams.com/video/u6JJNe3Hwi4/video.html
Right? I sometimes still think about it.
@@DarkwaveMistress It was so good. Almost a breath of fresh air. After being so used to seeing Ambiguous Amphibian's ultra- optimized gameplay, it was great to see the Librarian so concerned with finding a cozy set of pajamas
Grab and equip those tissues next run, they muffle sneezes
Hey, just wanted to let you know.. Inconspicuous really doesnt matter. TLDR: If it doubles your chance of a zombie not seeing you, well.. basically, it checks once every frame if you are in its vision and it can see you after about a second (Assuming you are playing at 60 frames per second, it checks if you are in its vision 60 times, it only takes 1 frame to notice you, and inconspicuous only doubles your chance of not being seen, so its like going from not being spotted for 1 second, to 1.1 second(s)). so all you are really getting is a fraction of a second of not being noticed by the zombie. I know im not explaining it well, but you can find other sources that do the math better,
The few times I've tried this scenario, I found my best chances were to rip up the first clothes I find for bandages and to also quickly eat one thing from my starting kitchen (some canned food has a tab and can be opened without an opener). The canned food will give you the fed buff which will offset and heal some damage, and sometimes bandaging a wound seems to allow you to move a bit faster. Or at least, it lets you heal faster, combined with being fed. I think bandaging your feet might even stop you from limping, but I don't recall. If you can't manage to do those things at the beginning of your run, you're pretty much done for.
Glad we finally get to see another vid on Project Zomboid!
Kinda makes me want to see you play CDDA sometime.
It's one of those games that takes ages to learn and has controls and visuals that'll make you want to cry but the sheer depth and realism to the games mechanics combined with it's sci-fi/cosmic horror setting is super interesting.
Your narration it's so entertaining that even dying a bunch of times it's fun when you narrate it
I'll never get tired of your project zomboid runs
The sneezing is the killer!!
OMG, Yes! Thank you for doing PZ again! The previous series you made was so entertaining to watch!
finally! a new zomboid video! hard to believe it's been almost a year since the last one
Oh my god, another Project Zomboid gameplay! This game is absolutely awesome Librarian, you should maybe play it some more! I've begun playing it recently again and it's an absolute joy! You could also try to start as a specific job, like a police officer and such and try to roleplay through the eyes as that cop etc. It would be awesome I think!
I love your Project Zomboid series! They're addictive. Hope you have a nice day.
Ambiguous amphibian is a very entertaining content maker
So glad we’re getting more zomboid
I always go through the forest to the farm house, it's always works.
I know what I'm watching for the next hour.
It feels like the developers looked at the challenge videos a couple months back, saw how people where doing things and went “people are SURVIVING this? We can’t have that… nerf the speed.” Crazy how a change in character speed when walking turned this challenge from ‘possible’ to ‘DEATH’! lol
Also, not sure what other behind the scenes setting are there in the challenge, now, but I swear house events got amped up for it. When I normally play the game, I rarely find that much, but whenever I try CDDA, all the houses right next to me have something going on! Found a bathrobe zombie, two prison escape zombies and two riot zombies in three separate runs… IN THE SAME HOUSE NEXT DOOR! Hell, I think I even found/triggered the Bob & Kate home event when I went a few houses down getting chased by the horde, went upstairs and found the backpack Bob and crawler Kate zombies in the bedroom. Ironically for that, I jumped out a window and died breaking both my legs when the zombies busted in. 😂
Glad to see PZ again, keep it up!
Okay, I've tried this eight times.
1x Bled out ten steps out the back door.
3x Hemmed in by fire and died in the kitchen
5x swarmed by zombies within two or three dozen steps outside.
Wow! Brilliant game design by a bunch of total AH's!!
it's designed to be extremely cruel and unfair
wow, over the last few days i was becoming interested in this game, this video is really cool
you should try to close doors immediately after you open them and try to lose zombies in houses this way. It has saved me many times
WOOO! Time for more zombies
All you really have to do is go outside kill the first zombie you find and grab his clothes.
Yes a new project zomboid video im happy
Also when you break line of site they can still hear you cough. You need to get gap on them and sprint through woods.
oh hey, a call out to ambigious amphibian, very nice
Wow good jpb with this! Idk all the settings, but I know it's 6 months later into the apocalypse, and also the population is 4x the default lol
now this is one im seriously excited for
Got a few tips for you for your further CD DA playthroughs if you're interested:
-If not burnt, the spawning house has curtains. Remove them and tear them up to bandage your wound, do not remove the glass right away, way to reach the northern farm house to minimize pain and slowdown, you're going to need all the speed you can get. Keep the extra sheet to bandage your feet if you can't get shoes until you reach the farm.
-You can look into containers with the game pause (F2) so take your time. If the table is in the way, you can pick it up and move it on another tile to move.
-You move faster while sneaking and holding shift. You also can get and quickstep by using the ''move to'' mouse command and holding shift to jog, each click will do a quick step which is fast enough to outrun zombies. If starting with 0 fitness, careful because this drains stamina quickly.
-Wear whatever is on the zombies you kill even if it has holes. The cold is your number two biggest enemy. If you happen to find a needle, patching holes will fully give back insulation even if protection becomes next to none.
-Move away from Muldraugh, the country side to the north between Muldraugh and Westpoint has next to no zombies except near houses, easier to get started and some basic gear to self sustain and eventually slowly fight your way through a city. Careful, most houses will still have many zombies inside.
-Don't bother re-bandaging even if the bandage is dirty. Remove the glass shard, bandage with ripped sheet or bandage, keep it on until your health goes back to OK (about 8-9 days with slow healer if it gets infected). If you have a mean to sterilize a bandage or ripped sheet, do it but keep it on after, you won't die from infection and it will still heal over time even if it's dirty.
-CD DA is the only game mode where gaining weight is next to impossible until Spring. Overweight is amazing for the first 3 months and Very Underweight (even underweight really) is eventually a death sentence (degeneration at 35 kg, expect to lose 1 kg every 2 days, sometimes 1 per day). With the Hunter Trait, you can self sustain if you find twine, which is pretty common inside car's glove box. Once you get a hand fork and a saw, you can make renewable Stick Traps to get fed by trapping birds. However birds don't have enough calories so you'll still eventually lose weight even eating 5-10 birds a day doing nothing but trap all day. Even with 3 fishing I couldn't get a single fish while spear fishing during the winter even during dawn and dusk so don't hope to rely on it until spring.
-With Erosion maxed, it's very easy to sustain spears, main downside is that it's hard to fight with them until you find a backpack but they're still insanely useful even right at the farm house if you can't find anything. Forage chipped stones and branches, rip zombie clothes, make a stone knife & stone axe, cut down bushes for more branches, using stone knife to craft spears. If you find a kitchen or hunting knife, you can cut bushes indefinitely with those. This being said, a class with a maintenance bonus or having the Handy trait is incredibly good. +carpentry from Handy is amazing too, deconstruct fences and you'll be level 3 in no time for 100% durability spears, a hammer (even stone hammer) can deconstruct a few things by itself so it can help early on.
-You'll walk a lot and won't be able to use cars for a very long time, you can speed up time by using the mouse ''walk to'' command and F4, also work while running.
-Baths have way more water than sinks and toilets and the water for all of those are clean. You should be able to last a while before considering boiling water.
The main challenging threats of CD DA that you don't have to think about in other game modes and will eventually kill you (roughly in order): The start (obviously, all the moodles, the cold and the wound), the weather (hypothermia, next to no natural ressources due to winter), water (find any container), hunger, sustaining weapons (learn to use crafted spears), inevitable weight loss, fighting indoors (clear outside first, lure zombies by yelling in front of an open window, yell inside to make them bash on doors so you don't get surprised, there are just too many zombies in this mode).
When I play this scenery I always go to the farmhouse up nort, stay some couple of days and move to get of the sneezes
BTW IF YOU DONT KNOW ALREADY YOU CAN USE MUGS AND BOWLS TO POUR WATER ON FIRE TO PUT IT OUT (right click on fire)
LETSS GOO HES BACK WITH ZOMBOID
Love this show.
Humans when they touch a tiny fraction of fire: "oof ouch my skin my bone *shits cutely then dies*"
Zombies when they are engulfed: "hmm dat smells nice and tasty. yum."
Jesus wearing that dress was such a slay
i kinda want to see Librarian try playing CDDA, man that would be cool, but it is not an easy game to access
or to try out Caves of Qud, I hear that gets spooky
omg YES i've been waiting for more project zomboid!
It would be cool if you could use maggots to cure infection
Word of advice: CHANGE OUT BANDAGES. It's worth it to have to clean three dirty rags on an infected wound because you keep swapping out once it's dirty again. Infection is not a terminal condition if well-managed- simply monitoring your bandages and getting some food in you will see it dissipate no trouble at all.
I hate laughing at this, but this was my exact experience. I got bored of regular sandbox, so I wanted to try one of the challenges, and I had NO IDEA HOW DIFFICULT THIS ONE IS. I finally got out and healed, ran straight west-north-west to the cabin with the well, and have been foraging. Once spring comes, I'm going to try to loot somewhere.
I would recommend you the yacht/ship mod, it also allows you to swim.
In One of my game files, I use it as my mobile HQ, it has a bed, microwave and its easy to fish
Does anyone know why dexterous and outdoorsman have a much higher cost now?
Finally you're doing more zomboid
Imagine 25 zombies burst in during his outro and he died, lmao
I absolutely love the zomboid videos
Hi. I really hope you would check out the game called "knock-knock". Its an amazing abstract horror game and really interesting to think about. Love your channel❤
Woohoo, my day just got a whole lot better!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS LETS GOOOOO YES YES YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH WOOOOOO
more project zomboid lets go
Yes more Project Zomboid
nice
I've never tried this maybe I will give it a try
I'd ask for you to maybe try out CDDA, but honestly, games hard without SOME kind of guide. But even so, CDDA is one of, if not the most immersive and fun survival game to play, if your experionsed.
Honestly deserves more attention then it gets...
YAYAY MORE ZOMBOYYYYYD 💜🔥
Nice AA reference
YESSS give me more PZ
Nice
I am watching this young man suffer and i'm laughing
lol i might be evil
❤
Free Guy 2 looks great!
Day 3 of asking Librarian to check out the GMod maps Insomnia, Paranoia, and Hypnophobia.
didnt know u played pz
There’s this rp server for PZ I you’d enjoy
We need more pz
Day 7 of asking the librarian to make a book reading series/ channel
At some point when they first made this challenge your character didn't limp from the glass shards in their foot and it was difficult still but possible but now with the mobility issue it's near impossible to survive if you manage to exit the house without catching on fire. I was so annoyed with this challenge because it seemed impossible so i looked up a recent video on it and turns out i'm not the only one having a hard time with it. Basically it's broken.
these new little nightmares graphics are fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Pls play granny remake
First🎉

Really enjoying this game play but the "Jesus" jokes, not so much! Please consider that some of your viewers/subs do take Jesus Christ seriously (like myself) and are offended when His name is used as a joke. 😉
sometimes laughing with, and understanding from everyone's point of view is also worth it, even if you are offended perhaps consider understanding not everyone feels the same way.
@@pepper5603 I don't laugh at things I'm offended by, I'm sure no one does. Consideration should be taken when such a sensitive topic is spoken of, any sensitive topic should be considered before being joked about.
I completely agree@@anisims1569, but I am unsure if the world does these days.
This is not the hardest if you don't choose the worst traits and worst occupation and level up the most useless stat
Nice
