I've have the same cover on my 17 F250 for over 2 years . Best $260 I've ever spent .

I have the rough country soft tri fold and absolutely love it. I've had the expensive ones and all of them leaked water into the bed or just fell apart. My cheap rough country cover I can take through a car wash and my stuff stays bone dry. Cover is 3 years old now and still looks and works great!!!!

I have the same cover on my Silverado. I bought it to cover my bed to haul stuff to the beach a couple times a year. Definitely serves its purpose. Best $279 I’ve spent. Good video!

For the price, it looks really nice! Unless you buy a really high end cover, they’re bound to get a little water in the bed. I have the factory tri fold tonneau on mine and even though it gets a little water in the bed, it really does work great and I’m happy with it. Really glad to see you back on and even doing a driving video! Thanks Bandit!

I got a tri-fold Rough Country when I first bought my 17 TRD. I only paid $150 for it on Amazon it has stayed tight it doesn't leak water it's been snowed on rained on you name it and it still looks great. But I'll be getting rid of it soon as I'm buying a camper top as I need a place to stick my two big dogs

I just want one for the "out of sight, out of mind" concept. as well as keeping my stuff dry.
My old roll up cover on my last truck lasted seventeen years, all it needed as regular washings and brand name vinyl protection.
But this one is simpler to use and comes pre-assembled. My main question was about how well it behaves at highway speeds, and you answered that quite nicely.
Thank you very much. Next stop-Amazon!

Well said, its a great cover for the price. I have the same style cover but its by the tyger brand and I also purchased on amazon back when I bought my truck in 2017 brand new and its help up great! I live in Northern California and see all of the elements and I have no complaints

I think I got mine for $140-$150 and I only use it a couple times a year. Mainly when wheeling, as I carry the gear in the back or camping trips. Other than that it spends most of its time in the garage.
I’d love a diamond back but offroad mods are more important 😂

I just ordered one like this for my 2011 Ranger. $219 on Amazon with free prime shipping. I don't store anything in the bed (plus my tailgate doesn't lock) so I am not looking for security. I pick up packages for work from UPS every weekday and I park under a tree that is constantly dropping leaves. I will now have dry boxes and no leaves ankle deep in the bed anymore. Thanks for the review.

Just got one for my new F-250. Had the $1000 Ford cover on my 17 F-150. Same latching design. Bak-flip on my '15 GMC leaked like hell.

I have a tyger tri-fold bed cover on my Silverado.
Does the job. Easy install no bells and whistles, most importantly no water inside

I have a cheap no name trifold cover for mine and I think it was only $150. Works well with my tailgate lock just to keep things out of sight and covered. If I wanted security then I’d get a diamondback.

  • @CoelhoSports

the roll up was obviously the cover for you, but since you're selling the truck it doesn't matter. you never get money for your mods when selling a truck. people just want to pay what the truck is worth. having a decent looking tonneau and other mods might help it sell faster, though, so good that you got something in trade and a few bucks. i think i saw an ATV video on this channel once, but never dirt biking or trail riding, but saw a dirt bike in the back of the taco once. maybe do an occasional video biking on a decent trail.

    @donquixote... Před 2 lety

I think the real question is what are you going to use it for...? No, not the tonneau cover, the truck... The tonneau cover to me is what to do with the bed when it's not in use (generally speaking). Yeah, can haul some lumber or plywood under the cover, as well as the proverbial groceries, or other items that need some protection when carting to and fro. Otherwise, think I'd prefer something that has a lifetime vs 5 yr warranty, and is a little less than 1/3 the price.

We got one of these for our 2023 Tacoma and it looks horrible after 2-3 months. a lot of sagging in between the bows, looks like a old covered wagon top. The truck is kept in the garage also so not from snow. Good luck wish we would of gotten something else. They must have a deal with amazon, I tried to review on there site and the rejected the review.

Back in the early 2000s I had a traditional snug top cover on my ranger. Even this woulda been nice because there were times I wish i didnt have it and a traditional cover is a 2man job.
Don't have the truck anymore but if I got another one I would look at these trifold style or the ones on rollers.
As far as safety even traditional covers arent that hard to break into. Standing on the bumper you can pull up and bend the tabs. Had to do that in Vegas once when. One of my locks got stuck and wouldnt open and my suitcase was in the bed. Bent the tab and then once i fixed the lock i just bent the tab back to normal.

My first one from them was great. The one we just got has a lot of poor workmanship issues. Won’t be buying another from them. Crazy back and forth with them too so we got sick of it and gave up.
