The Japanese are really masters of manufacturing and artists. Same with Taiwan. We used to manufacture some quality stuff here too but Australia seems to have lost it's way when it comes to manufacturing and inventing products these days :( It feels like we've just become an exporter of raw resources and we're going to pay for it some day. All we'll have is construction workers and mining companies. Manufacturing capability seems to be unimportant right now.

Being someone that uses a wheelchair those are not bad looking one. Granted the last one I bought was made in America. Yet I think these might be higher quality cause of the attention to detail. For a folding chair it looks pretty light which has always been he downfall of folding chairs so heave. Don't care for the brakes on it I like the blade style better that way my thumbs got get stuck between the brake and wheel. That really my only big critique. Other than the cost. $500-700 worth of materials yet sells for $4k.
