Hi Amy, ... I totally agree with you.
Actually I'm a PMP instructor and at the end of each training this is my message to my class,
"Don't forget to plan for the most important project, ... Your Life"
Thanks for saying it loud.
Ahmad
Ahmad Al-Musallami thank you for sharing. I think basic PM skills are so helpful, yet under valued.
I just got PMP Certified yesterday 👍🙂
Hi brother

I just got certified yesterday as well
Loved the way you intertwined the idea of project management with your entire life... I agree that life is one big project, sometimes it is like a program (group of projects with a strategic vision and a common benefit!).
I enjoyed Amy's video using life as a project. It's so true!
Thank you Amy,
At the age of 54, I couldn't agree with you more. Project management of our life should be taught in jr high school. I am starting boot camp next week and since I have been preparing for boot camp I have been thinking in parallel with everything you said.
by the way, this is my first ever you tube post.
Thanks David! Project Management in many cases is something that can really help people out. I'm glad you enjoyed my video and super happy to be your first CZcams post!!
Thanks for sharing this video about Project Management and its real-life comparison!! I am planning for my PMI ACP exam and I think ACP is more agile approach to PMP :D
Great speech ..... I am starting my master degree in PM and i am really excited to make it a profession because i really like the challenge . Future PM
I hope I can pass my PMP exam soon.
Hey Amy, so I'm a young Civil Engineering graduate with a few years of construction work experience in coordinating and monitoring workers as a Site Engineer, any idea if that experience would count towards the 3 years needed to fulfill the experience requirement to write the pmp exam ?
Nice video,it's ok to slowdown. Regain control. Life is indeed a project management.
Thanks Amy!
so well said!!!!

@@Abeyjohnsen it’s good.

Metaphor to once life and similarities with various project phases

Thank you. Glad you found it helpful.
Thank you for sharing! :)
Thanks James!
Love it. Even managing your classroom and planning innovative teaching methods is a project.
Jimela, Great point about teaching being a project. I have often thought that.
Danke,Amy.
Thank You, Rahat.
Thank you very much for that amazing video
Thank you Magid.
Wow amazing....
Thanks Saad!
Nice presentation!
Thanks Toyin!
Nice one!!!!!!
Haha Brilliant. I passed my PMP on 29th. You explained it perfectly.
For giving PMP exam, do you need this ?
36 months leading projects
@@Learningvideos421 Not necessarilly leading. I lead nothing. I just worked on projects in diff capacities. I have seen people giving exam without even 1 year of experience.
Nice !
Thank You, Sunil.
What she said is true but tooooo cheeky.
This lady knows
If only life is as simple as 5 process groups...
Still working on that "key." Studying for the exam. Thank you for the information.
Michael, Have you taken your exam yet? Good luck!
Not yet! Hopefully I will get to sit for the exam if not March then in April. Thank you!
passed your test man?
Toyin Owolabi Not yet. Just got my application approved and need to schedule it! How about you?
Yes I have passed, connect with me on linkedin. Search for Tony Karim. Same picture
I see HE and PNGUOT Teaching and learning being processed like PMP.
Tough crowd!
I thought she was alone :( - I think the audience was not opened, or had any PM knowledge… I don't know.
According to PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), there is no such thing as a Controlling "phase". However, there are many Monitoring & Controlling "processes".
PMP's are typically understood as private marketplace ..this was confusing

How about a couple drinks
Sorry ...I think if we consider our life as Project we are going to feel more stresseful and living a complicated life.. and the most difficult is to predict what can happen to our life
Tough crowd...
Thanks D.
Life is a project managed by God
Her DNA is positive on PMP.
Lady said PMP knowledge helps to unstress but she looked very stressed. And if I heard correctly she said that Mother Terese was a perfect Life Project while I saw and heard that she (MT) was one of the biggest world frauds of all time... Find docs on YT. But Amy did a very good job nevertheless.
The Mother Theresa scam is the most shocking thing I discovered. It was drilled into me as a child. She was the poster woman for doing good. Liitle did I know; she took bribes, questioned her faith to the point of not believing and made the dying in india last days extremely painful.
Read Christopher Hitchens book: The Missionary Position
I really do not like project managers who have control issues.
I always amazed why people will put PMP after their name, it's so small to define you. I got a Ph.D. and didn't put it after my name.
As someone who comes from the world of technical recruiting, it made my life SO MUCH EASIER when candidates had their qualifications below their name at the top of their resume.. a LOT of jobs require those silly three letters at the end of the name. Having it at the end of your name for everything??? I agree, it's ridiculous. But definitely helpful on resumes
Glad Im not her co-worker!
lol
The key to life ? Really?
is this Marge Simpson?
Marge wasn't a sorority girl.
I’m here after she destroy our class by handing out labs that she didn't even bother to look at.
I don't think life as a whole is a good case for project management. It's misunderstood
