- Rosie Huntington Whiteley is a British model and influencer who has become a popular name in the modeling world since the mid-2000s. She got started as a model at the age of 16, and was shot for Teen Vogue, and then by Bruce Weber for Abercrombie & Fitch. She remained mostly a commercial model and even became a Victoria's Secret angel after years of walking their fashion show. She got her big break in luxury fashion when Burberry Creative Director Christopher Bailey asked her to model for the brand's ad campaign. And from there she has walked for big brands like Givenchy, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Versace & Prada just to name a few. She has also covered publications like Vogue, GQ, Elle & Harper's Bazaar. Throughout her outfits of the week, she consistently showcased minimal and clean outfits that did feel genuinely realistic to her actual wardrobe, although it got a bit stale at a certain point. Brands like Hermes, The Row, Bottega Veneta, & Proenza Schouler were all easily discernable and aesthetics that she carried beautifully.

For the people in the comments saying that her dressing sense is too bland: IT IS OKAY TO DRESS BORING. I personally love neutral colors and pieces as they are timeless and can be mixed and matched.

I also dress boring. Not “boring” as her, she is fabulous but more like plain one-colour long/short sleeve shirt, jeans and white sneakers. And i see nothing wrong with that, thats my style, thats what i like. Im so tired of people being like we all must be “EXTRRRRAAA”. Nahh just be YOU.
I'm far from to be the most obsessed person when it comes about minimalism, but she really can pull it off all these looks without look bland, she brings personality, definitely isn't it's the outfit nice or she is just skinny, there's a unique mix there.

It's really curious, because (without trying to sound mean I swear) i thought exactly the opposite, in the sense that actually those clothes give her a personality or at least show her personality as more than a stereotypical skinny white model. She is perfect without a doubt, i guess i find less "perfect" people more interesting
@@Mcelle100 Interesting your point of view, and it's valid too, because i didn't thought that these clothes could break some stereotype showing more than a pretty face, still I think that even she wearing other type of clothes as more basic or too girly per say, she could bring something you know, an A factor? I really like fashion and sometimes I see people using some statements pieces, as this huge coat that she's wearing, and seems really forced/pushing something that she's not, you know? I think my perception comes more in the way she speaks and seems to behave, instead just her looks that seems natural? It does make sense? Like I really believe in the skinner theory that we are part of the change in pur environment (like rose wearing clothes and bringing je ne sais quoi) not the otherwise (wearing nice clothes to look good and sometimes looking the opposite), but thinking further this makes me remind the sprezzatura that usually men's in italy do, that consists in look natural without effort, but they had a lot effort to look carefree. Lol I've divagate a lot.

She's always this mellow. I actually love her minimalist,sophisticated style.
I loved her looks, I wear basically just shades of beige, cream, white and brown with a little black mixed in, so maybe I am biased a little. But I love neutrals because they all go together and I love to mix textures and to invest in expensive good quality fabrics. That makes a look really look elevated in my opinion and you can mix more pieces in your wardrobe.
Yeah expensive, well made fabrics is what really makes these kinds of outfits, you can really tell that she chooses her fabrics very carefully - nothing looks out place.
She does look nice...but just by adding ONE item that is in color or print, like red heels or even a big statement gold necklace, will make her outfit outstanding

@@TrishasMusic i personally hate colour and like that neutral clothing is accessible. i hated the neon and bright coloured clothing era. i couldn't find simple jeans for the life of me. not everyone wants to stand out and wear colourful things
I relate to Rosie’s style. I feel most confident in neutral tones and comfortable fabrics. I actually loved that they showed a style thats a little more tame and not so trend driven.
honestly if i could pull off (or afford) outfits like these i definitely would, they look so soft and comfy but also polished and clean like a socially acceptable way of wearing pajamas out in public

I thought her wardrobe picks were perfect as like a capsule type of thing. Pieces that you can utilize over again and can move with the trends. I’ve definitely been more into the minimalist style of dressing lately. Gravitating towards stable like pieces. So I enjoyed this.
Definitely, I think everyone should pick a capsule wardrobe before venturing out and doing something different. Basics are really important and you can make a plethora of outfits with them. After that, you can start buying statement pieces to go *along* the basics.
I just love that Rosie favors wearing classic, timeless outfits over following trends. She knows what works well for her body and is very conscious about who she wants to be and how she wants to come across. Obviously this is not what many of us can afford to purchase for ourselves but I am appreciating the inspiration.

I think she is just sophisticated. As an European woman I LOVE her style! I think it’s just what you’ll see on the street, color wise, the elegance, the natural beauty of it. As far as the shoes, she always wore this type of clothes, shoes, style etc. I think it’s just her signature. Maybe she is trying to copy, I don’t know her, but I follow her for a while due to her style and she’s been always this elegant, and the shoes is something I love in her collection forever. I agree completely. I’m British and despite my society is heavily influenced by American trends and fashions more these days, this colour palette and styles as well as materials in wool, leather etc is a very European (yes British too, we are Europe!) was the common way to dress for even the average person, prior to trends and the fast fashions we have today. Everyone in the 80s and 90s had trench coats and neat footwear etc… Rosie is refreshing in the celebrity space, as she is true to herself and her tastes and style. She is often seen repeating items and she simply purchases things which have longevity. She does the odd trend too but I feel she has really found herself in her clothing now. Comfortable, elegant, timeless and focused on fabrics and textures.
Outfits were 10/10. I have no complaints. Timeless and classy.
I love how effortless, clean but at the same time sophisticated and elegant her style is. I just wish more people understand that looking rich doesn't mean SCREAMING A BRAND into your face.

yessss!!!!! THIS! Of all the Vogue videos, I feel like RHW was the most wearable (even if you were to pick stuff from high street instead of The Row and Hermes). Every other video literally felt like "I would never wear that if I were not X, Y or Z -who is a model in the fashion industry"

I loved every outfit!! As I get older I tend to stay away from clothing items that will date themselves really quickly as soon as trends start to shift. I want pieces I can keep with me and use in my wardrobe for years on end.
I see what you mean, you wanted to know the "story" behind the clothes and her emotions tied to the clothes but honestly she might not be "into" fashion so maybe its just she likes it and buys it and she isn't so invested in it.
This is the problem I have sometimes with videos like these or the comments section of these videos. Do all/most of my clothes need to come with a story? As you've said sometimes people just like something and buy it.
@@kimsiljeur Yeah exactly! In my opinion, fashion choices don't *have* to be rationalized or have a "story", sometimes people just wear stuff simply because they like it or like how they feel in it. This is irrelevant lol but i feel the same way about tattoos, many people think that tattoos have to have some meaning or story.. but why can't the "story" just be that it looks cool

I meant that lately I've been gravitating more towards neutrals because they're easier to match and you don't suffer from the "I have nothing to wear" symptom because everything matches and you can create many outfits without having to buy lots of clothes. Wearing neutrals is fairly easy to me and they are very flattering on most people. Also Idk why race has to be involved into this since there are lots of black and east asian people who wear neutrals. It's a style thing, not a cultural thing.

edit : this is not an attack at anyone, and especially not luke because i am, to an extent, capable of respecting other people's opinions, but that being said, i think it's a bit ridiculous to be expecting everyone to like dressing in crazy, over the top things, or in a lot of colour, and just because something is simple does not mean it is boring.

I am not opposed to minimalism, but 8 out of 10 comments call her style 'sophisticated' and 'timeless'.
Well, duh, you got a bunch of solid symmetrical clothes in neutral colors, of course there is no timestamp on these kind of things. They are usually the base of the wardrobe, but not in its entirety. Seen some other '7 Days, 7 Looks', and people usually are more elaborate on the 'why' of the pieces they wear, and here it just makes no sense to me. As a mother of a toddler myself, I would never go for these crisp white looks.
Then again, maybe it is a testament to her determination to remain who she is after birth, and not let the circumstances decide for her...now I'm conflicted

I think the neutrals really suit her. Even her hair, skin and makeup is all neutral. I'm having a hard time visualizing her in something colourful.

Same could be said for people who wear too much colour. Too much colour can get a little too tacky and loud. But people will dress the way they want. Although I do wish that she had a few items that had other colours, I think her current styles suits her a lot. Timeless pieces and colours that will never go "out of fashion".
Same, it's boring to me. I need COLOUR in my life. Colour is everything to me. lol I personally think black and white are better base colours than beige or brown. You can mix far more colours with black or white, since they are only shades and not actual colours, it just works. Beige can be mixed with other colours too, but it doesn't look as good, honestly. Still, something red, green, pink or blue would have been fine and maybe some black too. I think she just really likes oatmeal and cardboard, so she wears cardboard colour.

PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT MINIMALISM AND COLONIZATION IN FASHION!!! As much as I can appreciate (and love) the minimalist style and culture, its sad to see that its considered 'trendy' and 'chic' but cultural prints and textures are classed as 'cheap' or and 'exotic'. It puts so many cultures in a box of inferiority. Being South Asian myself, its sad to see celebrities who are non-white and Eastern European, rarely ever wearing their ethnicity's traditional clothes and rarely ever being photographed or praised when wearing them either (e.g traditional South Asian wear, traditional Latin american wear, African wear, indigenous wear etc.), unless visiting their home country.
Actually the minimalism has a lot of the roots in Asian culture, maybe not south Asian but one can mix fabrics quite easily.
