Photography in the Swiss Alps

A few weeks ago we spent some days traveling through the Swiss Alps to get some nice landscape photos. We started the trip in Lauterbrunnen, visited Grindelwald, stayed a few days in St. Moritz and finished the journey in the Val Roseg.

For this photography trip I wanted to visited a few famous places to get the classic pictures like the Lauterbrunnen valley, the Bachalpsee or the Malojapass. As that's a wide range of different subjects I had to cover a wide range of focal lengths: The Malojapass requires a 16 mm focal length so you're able to capture the whole road with the background. For the shot of the Lauterbrunnen valles I needed a mid range focal length to compress the distance. While for the mountain peaks a tele lens with up to 300 mm worked really well for me. Besides that I also brought a few different ND filters and of course a polarization filter which is very important for landscapes.

Man man, dass Glück ist manchmal nicht mit den tüchtigen.... unsere akribische Planung für die Dolomiten ist auch für die Katz gewesen, da der Winter Einzug hielt im Oktober. Dennoch, wieder gut gemacht, gratuliere

Danke dir für dein Kommentar Burak! Wenn das Wetter nicht mitspielt, kann einem echt die Lust vergehen, vor allem wenn man dafür irgendwo hinreist :( Hoffe dennoch es gab ein paar gute Fotos aus den Dolomiten für euch :-)

Ja, wir waren hier für ein paar Tage, aber leider war das Wetter nicht ganz optimal :( Naja nächstes mal wirds sicher besser :-)
