This deck is a masterfully planned and done. It’s a mixture of RWS imagery and Thoth imagery and conception (thus the crocodile in the fool card, the snake-tailed lion in strength, the scarab in the moon, the pages are princesses and kings are knights and so on). The names in the minors are the hermetic titles of the Thoth tarot. The symbols in the scrolls are the astrological correspondences, the ruler planet, the tree of life correspondences as well and the meaning of the Hebrew letter (empress is door, high priestess is camel, etc etc). This way this deck can be read by both schools and the reader can choose in which reading style to interpret the cards. It’s amazing!
I love everything about this tarot. Even the scrolls.

He surpassed all tarot illustrators with his sublime paintings in Heaven Earth tarot and the Runik Tarot ..
The camel represents the Hebrew letter "camel"..Often associated with the High Priestess Card.-->.Which is represented as "3" on the Tree of Life...So spectacular..that it distracts many...according to lore...from piercing the veil that reveals source but tricks us into believing that we have been exposed to such.
I just got the kit version of this deck. Was always out of stock. Arriving next week. So excited
I preordered mine and I didn’t know that scroll was going to be there. I did point out that they have print text for the numbers but this weird ink writing for the title. What do you think of it?

Ah see that would be more explained in the kit not the deck alone I’d say.
Great observations! I wish there was a version with only the artwork minus the scroll or a least a blank scroll where you could write in your own key word if you like. And from my understanding there is no explanation for the symbology on the scroll.
I like your review and I agree with you. Most of the artistry is lovely. They should have removed the keywords 'coz it makes it more confusing. It confuses the intuition of the readers. And "Princess" before the "Knight"? Absolutely doesn't make any sense at all.
Yeah coz the knight and page are their own pairing like the king and queen. Or the taboo of knight and queen. Just the hierarchy of knight over princess doesn’t make sense. Either the Princess is a page and the knight stays or make the knight a Prince like in tarot Illuminati
