Definitely a beautiful deck, was looking forward to this one last year! Looove the artwork and the theme of the deck. That Wheel of Fortune is stunning! I love that the Magician and the Kings are all beefcakes 😍
I really enjoy this deck. It is so dreamy and nice for focusing on my unconscious mind. For me, I like that the keywords are so faint. It makes it easy to disregard them, but if I want to, I can focus on them and read them (I generally don’t bother with them though). I like pairing this with the Dreamkeepers Tarot. I feel like this deck has a strong masculine energy and Dreamkeepers is more feminine, but both are so dreamlike that they complement each other well.
This deck reminds me of those old Renaissance oil paintings that have a photographic quality. You all were lucky to get just the deck on its own. I just got them to look at, but still one of my favorites😍👍
I so love this deck. Beautiful artwork, the horses are magnificent. It looks like heaven is shining a light on the earth in each card. Yes there is so much added richness with symbolism too. Is the Princess of Cups a mermaid, I see a fish tale. Thanks for sharing.
so excited to get mine. I usually do not like this type of art style for tarot, but this is gorgeous. It does seem like timeless art which is cool. I’ve been trying to stick to more diverse decks, but this one will have to slide 👀
Hi again🙂👋 I just popped back in to say that after having this deck almost a year, I've noticed an alligator under the feet of The Fool. Many in these comments have remarked that this is a blending of RWS and Thoth, so this makes sense
I have just received this deck and like you surprised to receive the smaller box. Initially, I was disappointed because I like a good guide book, however, it does save on room. Beautiful deck. I haven't opened it yet- going to treat myself next Saturday morning when I am off from work- so I will have time to really bond with the deck.
SIMON I saw the comment below that this is a hybrid of the Thoth Tarot. If you look at the Court cards you can see the references to this made clearly. Look at the symbols below on the Court Cards, in the Thoth deck The Prince is Actually the King, Fire to Fire and King is actually the Prince. If you want take out a Thoth which I know you wouldn't want to do LOL🤣 and compare the images on the cards. This deck gives you the option to place these cards or read them in the system you like.i hope this helped. Hugs Caroline 😘❤

I feel that the colouring used adds an atmosphere of secrecy/mystery which in turn piqued my interest even more. The only issue I found were the prompt words on the minors, however that would not be a deal breaker for me. Looks like another one is being added to my list 🤓 Loved the walk through. E xx

The Knight of Swords is what got me to buy this deck. The artist really understands how to express both people and animals. So often you see a charging Knight on a docile/sheepish looking horse lol However, the young girl representative of The World, the font and that ultra slick glossiness are my only upsets. Otherwise, the atmosphere created by the artist is breathtaking, truly a stunning work of art. Thank you Simon for a great review 🙏💛
SIMON Thank for another Amazing Walk Through. I've been looking at this deck and it does have the same vibe of the Lightness of Darkness Tarot deck one of Favorites I have the first edition. I've been eyeing this deck, I love the Style and I'm also RWS person too. Plus it's a benefit of the symbolic references below of Astrology and Kabbalah which I've always add to my Readings. The are Cards are Unbelievably Beautiful, but Unfortunately I've heard the book in deluxe version fall short of the description of the esoteric symbolic meaning Below on a cards which is so unfortunate. But with all this said ,if someone wanted maybe do a little studying and learning about the symbols below on the cards they can, but it can be read Straight as a RWS deck. I know I'm going to Love this Deck So Much I've Ordered 2 copies, I always do this too have one as a backup just in case it goes OOP. Plus because its going too not be sitting in that large magnet box, I'm going to be using it Studying with it I also Bought the Matching Bag too which I never do. Cant wait till it comes. I have the large book. A seasoned reader is fine without it; doesn’t even cover all the symbols in the banner for beginners. The art is gorgeous if you dig RWS.
This was not what I expected from the deck title, I am pleasantly surprised. I usually go for colours in decks but found this quite appealing, being different to what I already have in my collection so far. 🤔 maybe one more for the wish list.... 😳😆💜
Just fyi, I edged my Datkwood with sparkled black gel pen and it turned out amazing ! Like midnight w stars ,,, gel pens tend not to bleed as much, cheers
This deck is another I just can’t decide on. Some of the images are so pretty...and yet something holds me back. Why am I like this? 🤔 I found myself playing a little game trying to guess which pile you’d put the card in as you flipped through them. 😉🤣
Court cards, follow RWS in suit style. But look at the symbols on the cards and the Knight is the highest card following Thoth system. Same pictures on both cards!!
I have the deck with the guidebook and its called the tarot tool kit witch was £29. i think the one you got is the tarot cards and instructions version witch is £24. I agree with the font size on the keywords it is such a eye strainer and being in joined up writing was an extra challenge for me ❤
@@the_hermits_cave for £5 and change yes . I skimmed through it in my flip through last week. As well as given the Heaven and Earth interpretation for each card, it also indicated that the deck is a RWS and Thoth hybrid, which doesn't seem to be apparent in the little white book 💕🙏🏾
Ah I’ve fallen for that too on BD. Mixed Media category would have the book set and the Cards category would have just the deck. I’ve made that mistake once before.

I wish I could order this compact size instead of the kit, but it hasn't been released in the US. I've heard the book is lacking so I don't want the big set but I love the artwork.

Ahh now I'm in a pickle... the Darkness of Light sale starts tomorrow and I really want that deck as my winter deck, because it just radiate winter to me. But ordering from the US is a lot more expensive (at least right now who knows how BD will be from next year :/) and takes a lot longer. Beautiful artwork. The unexplained symbolism (inadequate book) and the weird fusion of RSW and Thoth are disappointing, but still a lovely deck. Someone said, on Modern Metaphysicae's review, that the smaller box is the European version.
I really love this deck. I anxiously awaited it for over a year. The artist is working on a gorgeous Norse themed deck, now. I did a side by side with Darkness of Light (my soul deck) and RWS during my walkthrough because everyone compared it to DoL. While they both evoke a similar atmosphere and tone, Heaven and Earth is very faithful to RWS, while DoL deviates significantly in some cards. I don’t use the keywords, but I find them unobtrusive enough that I completely forget they’re there. I also don’t read with all of the esoteric layers, but I like having a gorgeous deck that includes them so I can us it for personal study. I’ve heard some people have chopped the titles off, lol. While I’m not afraid of some deck mods, I like the scroll titles at the bottom. Maybe I’m just blind enough not to notice them when I’m reading, lol.
It's a hybrid RWS, Thot card titles, astrology symbols...beautiful images but I don't like that it's a mix of a lot things. Like, just pick one system please. :)
Would you say the cards are more of a painting or more computer art? I much prefer the drawn or painted style of artwork over photo realistic people in tarot decks. I always love your walk throughs and deck reviews.
Beautiful illustrations and mood settings. What would keep me from buying it is all the females look overly feminine and the men manly types. No androgyny...
