OC Transpo: Transitway between Campus and RR174 before the June 28, 2015 shutdown

On June 28, 2015, OC Transpo will permanently close down the Transitway (bus rapid transit, or "BRT) between Hurdman and Blair Station as it is being converted to LRT, which will be referred to as the "Confederation Line". Buses will detour depending on the individual bus route.
A couple of mitigation measure seen in this video before the Transitway closure and detours take into effect:
- Temporary Blair Station
- New temporary westbound bus only on-ramp from Hwy 417 westbound at Mann Avenue (Lees Avenue)
Also seen in this video are the LRT-related construction activity at Hurdman Station, and along the Transitway between Train Station and St. Laurent Station (where they are building the connector to Belfast Yard).

Which route is this
It makes sense that they converted (most of?) this transitway into a light rail line. Is this the only transitway in North America? Are other parts of the transitway still in service as of 2019?
6:17 I wonder how many drivers not from OC Transpo have "accidentally" ened up on the transitway during its lifetime?
As the other guy said, Mississauga, Brampton, and York Region all have a BRT system, however non are as complex and developed as Ottawa was/is.
Southeast Transitway from Hurdman to Greenboro, West Transitway from Tunneys Pasture to Dominion (even though it’s going to be converted, Transitway from Lincoln Fields to Baseline (going to be converted), and Transitway from Nepean Sportsplex to Barrhaven Centre. So basically, in a about a few years, the only Transitway left is going to be the one that stretches from Hurdman to Greenboro.
@@HAA0603 keep in mind they're also planning to build a brt on Chapman Mills and baseline Road
I remember In 2019 biking to tunnys then catching a bus. I actually just drive now and I love trains. I’m an actual rail enthusiast who wholesale endorsed this project but it failed so bad.
