Nice to see you finally post a new video. It's also nice to see Bronx catching some big fish as well. Say hi to him. Hopefully you make some Salmon videos this fall and late summer. I noticed in your other videos that you were using the T4 centerpin reel but I couldn't tell which rod you were using. Was it a CTS Affinity? It was hard for me to tell... Right now I'm using a G.Loomis GLX 13' 6-10Lb float rod that I ordered from Jim of centerpinangling.com, with a John Wilson Heritage centerpin reel. Back in 1999 I bought my first centerpin reel, it was an Adcock Stanton and I had it on a custom Lamiglas 13' float rod. When you, Alex and I went fishing under the 'culvert' back in 2013, you called it a carp rod but it was actually a custom Lamiglas designed for steelhead fishing lol...... Anyways, how about we all get together this fall and slay some salmon and steelhead. cheers
My man! The rod is an Affinity CTS 13'. Good eye! Still haven't made a salmon video but getting around to it. We'll be doing a lot of fishing on the Grand this summer, call me if you want to come. Cheers!
I don't want to disclose locations because locals in that area will not be happy with me. In general though, walleye are present in all lower stretches of the Grand river. Just look for deeper pockets of water. Late May and early June is the best time of year for walleye.
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing.
