Santa 1000 ISO film at night | Mamiya RB67

Overall I think the Santa Rae 1000 film is a solid option for your low light film photography needs. I shot a roll of 120 medium format with the RB67 at box speed and plan on using my roll of 35mm to play around with the exposures and see what kind of latitude the film has. Santa 1000 is simply new old stock surveillance film and they are up front about that in a funny north pole kind of way. None the less, its got a soft clean look to it that I think lends itself to be very flexible for a variety of situations. Personally I don't think the contrast is as pronounced as some other films I have shot, but it is a ISO 1000 film which does play a big factor. That being said I would agree for the speed it does have solid contrast. I'll definitely be keeping a few on hand for those situations where high iso, low grain, and flexible scenarios are needed.
