Best thing that could happen is that for once the nuggets or celtics dont even make the finals. Minnesota vs OKC or Dallas would be super cool and fun to watch bc of the excitement and relief that there wont be a repeat champion and seeing young teams on the rise playing in the finals. Knicks fans alone and the rise of Brunson with a team with more grit than talent would be awesome to see tbh. But just like the super bowl last year (because an overwhelming majority of people with no bias wanted a Lions vs Ravens Super Bowl), Vegas will habe the last laugh and we'll likely get Boston vs Nuggets

Julius(2 time allstar/all nba player you have to double team) and Mitch(up until his injury was the best offensive rebounder in the league/ extremely strong defensive presence)... We had no problems with the bucks this season...

The championship or bust narrative for the Cs is kind of dumb. It's really just because they've had a good organization for many years. Their 6 ECF in 8 years goes back to Isiaih Thomas when Brown was a rookie. Then they had Kyrie, Hayward and Horford when Tatum and Brown were still teenagers/early 20s. Then they had Smart and Rob Williams when Tatum and Brown were finally the stars of the team but still like 23-24 years old. Now Tatum and Brown are 26-27 and just starting to enter their prime and if they make the Finals and lose a tight one to the defending champs you're going to say blow it up because they've had good teams for a while? It's like something that just gets repeated without anyone actually thinking about. If they lose the Finals they're going to bring the same team back and Tatum and Brown are going to be another year better and they'll be the favorites to win the East again and one of the favorites to win the title.
