- One of our long-awaited goals has been reached, the lagoon route. We heard so much about it that we really wanted to finally do the lagoon route ourselves. The lagoon route is always at least 4,000 meters above sea level, which is why we acclimatized to the altitude well and seriously. Unfortunately, that wasn't quite enough. The engine and my head didn't particularly enjoy the lagoon route, but a quick descent from the huge high plateau isn't possible either. We also had to show that we were still physically capable of repairing a truck breakdown on our own in the isolation of over 4,650 meters above sea level. It was a real survival experience, but obviously we made it through.
Just amazing adventures, you are really true bad ass adventurers and legends in making! Keep on living on the roads and wish you both the best memories.
