In my opinion, this is a top 5 all time boardgame. The strategic depth, the flawless asymmetry, the incredible tension of every turn, the action packed back and forth game play, the high replayability, the amazing aesthetics, the seemless mechanics and best of all... it really feels like you are replaying out the OG star wars on a table top with a friend.
Just got this game over the holidays thanks for the walkthrough as well as introducing me to Legion two years ago 😀. I also see ROTE being inevitably added to my collection in the very near future. Thanks again
I had always wanted to play this game and i never pulled the trigger. I just ordered SWR and ROTE. Another good thing about Rebellion is that if you wish, you can use Rebellion as a HUGE campaign game where you pick your battles then use Star Wars: Armada to fight the space battles and Star Wars: Legion for the ground battles. Overkill? Of course. Will be watching these videos. HNY BTW!!!
love rebellion but best 2 player has to go to War of the ring and all it's expansions. Really liked the mechanics of Battles of the third age and Battles of the five armies. Thanks for putting video together.
I've only played one game of this game. We thoroughly enjoyed it, but we were pried how long it took! I think we played like almost 8 hours? Is that normal?

That's a bit longer than usual. But I can understand it taking longer while you are still learning. My games typically range from 2-3 hours.
