This would have been perfect for an anime reboot of Japanese G1, doing their own thing, calling Optimus Prime "Convoy" and the Decepticons "Destrons" again.
Diaclone was revived in 2015, so the Japanese call them Optimus Prime there without avoiding confusion with the other Convoy.

I honestly don't know what kiss player is until i watched transformers the basics and let me tell you i am starting to regret watching the video i guess when i look at oprimus prime,i can't stop thinking about kiss player and their voice are so amazing
The idea of a girl having a crush on Optimus prime and her childhood friend being annoyed by it because she loves her is honestly intriguing and I have no problem with the idea of inhabiting a mechine through the power of a kiss but if they every decide to use these concepts again just get ride of the creepy fan Service.
It could of been something neat but they just took it way too far in all honesty lol.

It's not fan service if no-one liked it. In fact, the borderline hentai element was so poorly received (Japan included) that it was dropped entirely for the second year of Kiss Players.

Holy Shit! They actually did a cover of the original Japanese op! That theme is so underrated! I know the 80s jingle from the US is iconic but growing up afterwards, I hate jingles. Power Rangers suffered from this, too. Why can't opening themes be just SONGS

Well I know very little about Kiss Players, like I was a young teennager when I read about this on the Transformers wiki and I didn't understand why it was so bad, but growing up made me realize a bit why this series is the worst thing to came out luckily I never got much interest in continuing with my searches about this so I'm still a bit sane

Its a great cover in my opinion and the whole reason why Kiss Players Transformers even existed was to bring either the Japanese audience to know transformers or the other way around. I don't remember much and I'm keeping it that way.

Huh. I dig the harmony. Not digging certain parts of the harmony (or other parts that lack it when the original song had it). And that call-out at the end?? Car Robots did it better, and that was just one guy.
I dunno...it ain't a bad cover by any stretch - in fact, it's pretty good - but for me personally, this doesn't cut it. Not compared to the original version.
I do like this one a lot but the original version will always be the superior one.

I admit, this was a great cover, but I *HATE* the Kiss Players crossover manga with every fiber of my being and every TF fan should close it away in a vault so NO ONE can ever see it again especially possible newcomers to the Transformers franchise

This is a remix/cover of the G1 Transformers Japanese intro.
After Kiss Players, Takara learnt nothing and decided to add similarly dodgy comics, included with their "Legends" (AKA "Titans Return") line of toys, which, although had a "15+" disclaimer (in TINY writing) on the boxes, were sold didn't next to TFs assumed at little kids in Japanese toy shops (and of the Japanese toy shop staff I asked, none one they were not aimed at kids and would probably still sell them to kids).

@@soundwave8560 very good, thanks. It's sad, that they don't have a proper instrumental Version, but the Off Vocals are as close to it as they can. Maybe one day it will be possible for someone to actually also remove the Background singing so it would be a proper instrumental Version. But until then, the Off Vocals will do for me. And hey, my Plan is to use the first opening (Off Vocal) as alarm for my Phone so it can wake me up. (That's the reason I wished it) Since there is Background singing with "wake up", it fits nicely. 👌😉

What is kissplayer and why people hate it so much ?
It's a series that set after the first movie in the Japanese G1 canon. The reasons why a lot of people hate it...well the manga is borderline loli porn( the main characters are adults btw), the radio show the first half is pretty much the same as the manga and this is probably the main reason hardcore fans hate them is that the Kiss Player team is important to the Japanese G1 canon and they rather forget about it but can't because how crucial the Kiss Players are in the canon.
This one reason how important they are: they make Primus canon in the G1 cartoon canon.
