  • As Buddhism finds new ways to express itself in modern societies, when do we know if it's OK to let old forms go? Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche will discuss this question and share his thoughts on keeping Buddhism fresh, yet true to its bedrocks

Thank You so much for sharing your Wisdom,I must admit though the anology of the monkey swinging through the trees has confused me,as someone once said in explaining meditation,i can not even recall where,"dont be like a monkey swinging through the trees, never letting go of one thought until you have the next thought in your hand" but you wasnt actually talking in regards thoughts but certainty of action, still a little confusing though as the same anology is used to express almost diametrically opposite ideas! This aside some of the points you raised Re Heart, and Transmissions on line really hits home, very high tech discourse, which i immensely enjoyed !

Did you ever cut off a Tibetan arm or cut out a Tibetan Eye?
