Justine was a wonderful player..............beautiful groundstrokes, especially that backhand, she had great movement, and she was fun to watch..........miss her.
Henin's backhand jumps off her racquet like a cannon ball. Holy smoke!! She just might have the greatest backhand stroke in the history of tennis on either tour.
I love how she has lots of time to run around those moon balls to hit a forehand as most players would do, but still chooses the backhand because of her self belief in that shot.
Because coaches all teach kids to play two-handers: it works better for kids who don't have the physicality for a single-hander. Promising kids and their parents want results quickly - they don't have the patience to wait for the kids to develop strength.
@@saphira85498 her backhand resembles Wawrinka’s more than Federer’s. I would compare Martina Navratilova more to Federer, awesome volley’s, best at Wimbledon and great over a long period of time.
@@saphira85498 But Federer’s backhand can’t compare to hers in court. Henin has all best techniques despite only 167cm tall. She might have 20 grand slam titles if she were 2 inches taller.
@@saphira85498 Yes - none of the great players of yesteryear or pro coaches compare her with Stan. It's always with Roger. Stan and Justine have very different backhand shot mechanics
Not true. She created angles with both back and forearm. Even McEnroe agrees with this. If height was this important, Venus and Sharapova would be ace at it
Best wta player ever, my opinion. Her game were by far the most technical ever played by a woman.

All round player with an explosion on the backhand. My favorite player in the 90s and 2000s
My favorite player, period

John McEnroe and I agree wholeheartedly
Difficult to beat those angles that Federer created with his backhand, but still best women's backhand of all time.

That backhand ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Justine's backhand the female version of Federer's backhand. She certainly hits them with pure technique!! Amazing!!
It's way better. Federer weakness is backhand.
It's better
@@usstockchannel Federer and weakness are two words that don't belong together.
You got it wrong. Roger has the male version of Junstine's
Federer created angles that Justine couldn't because of his extra height and leverage. It's still close however.
I loved to watch her play Justne❤
Such a stylistic player. Federer esque shots
OMG why we don't have backhand like this nowsaday

Coaches don't teach one handed backhands anymore because they're more injury prone
Maybe, just maybe...my favorite women's match of all time.
The most awesome player I have ever seen, male or female
Justine Henin was the female Stan Wawrinka! Or I should say Stan Wawrinka is the male Justine Henin!
Female Federer would be a much better fit
