I have bought 4 of the UMX Pitts planes over the years. Absolutely love the Pitts. Easy to see in the sky and orientation. I have even put pontoons on them to fly in the winter and off a lake. The Waco is a beautiful plane also. But if I had to choose 1, it's the Pitts. I can hover it in the wind. They don't fall out of the sky like he stated in the video.

I agree, I wore out my first one so I bought a second one. It's not as hard to fly as he says if you put it in SAFE mode.

@@mickistevens4886 It's more fun to fly it out of safe mode. Use safe mode as a last second save if you're in trouble.

i will say for the “falling out of the sky” i only ever have that issue when im landing at a slower speed. I think its just because of the smaller wing

@@InsanityMega Most planes will. Mind where you place the battery. I try to stick it as close to the motor as possible for a better CG. It's better to be nose heavy versus tail heavy.
And make sure the battery Velcro sticks. You don't want the battery bouncing around in the plane when doing loops, twists, and dives...

Thanks for the comparison even though I decided, before seeing this video, that the WACO would be my next UMX pick. [Unless maybe a UMX DRACO shows up before making my WACO purchase. 😊]

Fair review, as you stated depends on what the pilot wants to do. I own the 1400mm Pitts and its snappy as well, I think the UMX Waco would be my choice just for slow flight and enjoyment of seeing it fly, Enjoyed watching.

I like them both in different ways. I like the Pitts as it just flies on rails!

With UMX planes there is no choice you just need them all, I havent seen one that you should not buy. They are all awesome.

I agree I have 10 now like them all. Some more than others. All good but these 2 planes do not fly the same so I wanted to show this.
