Sinan Cem Eroğlu is a musician, music producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and worked as a lecturer in Istanbul Technical University. He established the first Fretless Guitar department in the World in Istanbul Medipol University.
Muhlis Berberoğlu, is a multi-instrumentalist folk music prodigy, who quite literally is never be seen without his bağlama in his hand.
Out of the younger generation artists in the Turkish music scene, 27-year-old Berberoğlu has been a leader in promoting Anatolian folk music worldwide.
Where in Anatolian folk music the guitar usually accompanies and the baglama indulges in breathtaking melodies and decorations, they much prefer to improvise music together.
Their 2018 album 'Hemdem' scored high in the World Music Charts.

Mesmerising and haunting music. Muhlis is peerless on the baglama and Sinan Cem is an amazing talent in so many musical ways. The world is a better place because of them. I am proud of them and lucky to have heard their music, especially this astonishing recording. Bravo!

I like this music. But I hope Muhlis will practice how to reposition his left hand without making the strings squeak so loudly. To my ear, squeaking strings are almost as unpleasant as the sound of a nail on a chalkboard. I won't listen to most acoustic guitarists because of that.
