    This was really easy to follow and having never tried this stitch before, you made it so simple with your instructions. Keeping on the same side of the square makes it simple

      This is on an 18 count (that's 18 threads to the inch) mono canvas Joanne (see the first video here: czcams.com/video/LnGXneewNUs/video.html) but you can do this stitch on any fabric that is for counted work (i.e. has holes in it!) such as Aida, evenweave linens, canvas etc.
