- Acorn squash roasted with maple cinnamon butter is so comforting in the winter months. It’s a sweet and savory side dish that is simple enough for a weeknight with Roast Chicken and stunning on a holiday table alongside a Juicy Roast Turkey.

Your daughter is adorable. Well....you too. Enjoy your weekend!
Best for the theme of autumn!!!
I love this kind of squash. It’s like supper and dessert at the same time.

Wow great idea 💡😋
Very nice recipie Natasha! Have a nice day and good weekend! Have a good month! 👍👏🍴
My neighbor grows a lot of his own produce and recently gave us some acorn squash. It was my first time trying some and had it with a little bit of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. It was soooo good. Will have to make it this way next time for sure.
I've been meaning to do this all summer with my butternut squash.... I think tonight is a good time to rectify that 😁 And by the way, your tomato soup & grilled cheese are fantastic! We absolutely love and will make them regularly from now on 🤤 Thanks Natasha! 💖
Beautiful, thank you. 🙏🥰🙏
I bet a scoop of vanilla ice cream in that would take it to the next level...yummm 🤤😍
Yes sounds delicious!
👩🍳Thank You Luv, Looking Forward To Trying!👩🍳

so glad you loved it!
Yum!!
I just made this recipe and it was so good!!!
I love acorn squash, with butter and lots of brown sugar.
Could I use brown sugar in place of the maple syrup? Call me an oddball, but I don't like maple syrup. 😂
@@msbigdog1460 yes, brown sugar to me bring a very good flavor of the squash. I like you only care for maple syrup on certain things like waffles pancakes, fish.
I like squash’s.. good recipe for Thanksgiving.😊
Omg your daughter is so big I remember when you were pregnant 🤰 😊 🤗
You’re always the best. And I love your recipes. Thank you for cheering me up when I am down.

Ur daughter's reaction shows- she ws doubtful ABot the taste 1st & then she was surprised🤩😋fr tht yummy taste &😋
ready to dig in wid
so good!!!!!
Good to make them with brown sugar too if you don't have or cannot afford maple syrup. That's how my Mom always cooked them. Fabulous.
Thanks for the tip!
Omg!! That looks amazing!!
It was so yummy!
Making these in five minutes 😊 looks delicious!
enjoy!
Delicious 😋 😋 😋
I stuff mine with cooked turkey or chicken sausage, and caramelized apples, onions, carrots and brown sugar. You could also do browned tofu and quinoa instead of sausage for vegetarians. Allow a whole stuffed squash for one person for meal. You can also put it on a bed of the stuffing if you can't quite put enough inside... Because it's really delicious! Serve with hot apple cider and sliced cheese plate on the side- gouda, blue cheese & sharp cheddar would be really good, with multiple crackers and grapes.... Yummy!
Thanks a lot for sharing!
I’m doing it for dinner 🍽
Soooooo good! Thank uuuuuu❤
You're welcome 😊
The only thing I’d change is using a spoon 🥄 at the end to eat.
That's the way I've always seen it cooked.
Amazing recipe 😋👌
Thank you
The way my momma makes it 👍

I’m so glad you’re enjoying them. ❤️
@@Natashaskitchen yes I love urr videos mostly the fudgy brownies cake that u did I love that recipe mostly the cake came very soft and taste 👍
Have you tried a similar recipe with a pumpkin. Instead of syrup, honey 🍯 and you add brown sugar and cinnamon. We usually make it using a pot on the stove though. It's a Mexican fav.!
Do you use a steamer and put water in the pot so the skin doesn't burn?
Aunt Natasha, can you teach my mom to make this pumpkin recipe? 😅😍🥺
I prefer olive oil, butter & salt.
Loved the idea ! Any other ideas for that squash?Thank you
I saw something where the person fork pricked inside of the squash for more flavor? Has anyone ever tried that? I think using Natashas recipe I will prick one side and see if it makes a difference.
I also do this. Am I the only one that thinks it’s almost like french toast?😅
❤❤❤
Have you tried Karo syrup instead.? I haven't had that in a long time...
I have not, but thanks for the idea!
🥰👌🏻
And finally we are 3million milestone
Congrats Natasha ❤🎉🎉
Thank you so much, its all thanks go you guys
Darn totally not a fan of this food , but after ur video I just may be a new fan hahaha. Ty for the video as always!!! #1
Don’t throw away those seeds!!! Baking the seeds are so yummy. Eat them straight away or add them to a salad yummy.
I think we have a winner 🏆
Wow this looks amazing for the holidays.
These shits are good I just had one for dinner 🥘 I added vegan butter ,maple syrup , coconut sugar
Nice abd good to know that you enjoyed it!
I grew up my whole life thinking these were pumpkins…
Haha. I am 62 an still can spell the word recieve-
If you’re adding salt, why not use salted butter vs. unsalted?
That will work too but I like using unsalted so I can easily adjust the salt level of the recipe.
So cute little girl
Can I do this with zucchini squash
I haven’t tested that yet.
ممتاز
Sounds delicious
Very impressed how much content you put into the CZcams Short. Amazing
Yum! I will try this, and I need to search your site for butternut and pumpkin recipes! But this one is a Winner! Winner! Winner! Thank you Natasha!
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you are enjoying them. 😊
It’s just a pumpkin
A ticking pumkin
That's not a squash That's a pumpkin 🎃
😅😅
Of course the kids like the squash. You make it as candy. We need, IMHO to STOP feeding ourselves and kids so much sweetener. I'm turning towards bananas instead of sugars of whatever variety.
Isn't it time to use more sanity in our foods? I believe so. And of course we are each so different.
Too much syrup😭
ruined it with salt
Nice recipe but the jerky camera movements were not fun😢
Old, old recipe. I think it was Martha Stewart who first published this.
can you eat the skin too
