I had a double knee replacement in in November 2020. I was up and walking in just five weeks. This was a life changing experience for me, l can now do things l was unable to do for years. All the post op pain was totally worth it. At seventy years of age, l feel like a kid again.

I recently separated my shoulder and im in the stage where i can finally stop thinking about the pain and just have to strenghten the muscles to get back to top again. Its such a great feeling knowing that you're so close to being healthy again and see that progress and all the pain being worth it. I cant wait to get back on my bike! I had a tt ankle fusion about 1,5 years ago and cannot run due to loss of motion and cannot walk without pain since then. It is such a massive change to my life. Even when i ride my bike it feels like i am limping. At least i have less pain on the bike ;)

Yeah Dude, so happy for you, good luck with the rehab, hope you're good enough to make Rampage :-D
Totally understand how you feel, after a small fall end of June that broke my patella in 1/2, had to have surgery and pin it, leg straight for 6 weeks. Been able to walk and do rehab for the last 4 weeks, quad almost gone no strength in the knee, had to work to get it to bend, have managed to get to about 100-105 degrees now, got a trainer this week and hooked it up, felt great. Don't have the range of motion yet in the knee, so have to run the saddle about 1.5" to tall, but it let's me get the knee moving and helps gain more range each day. Your update really has helped inspire and give some confidence in the process

Congrats on your recovery! On 8/10/19 I went down in what seemed like a minor crash, rolled over and my left foot was perpendicular to my left let with a bone protruding on the inside of my leg. I knew I wouldn't be found for some time so I cut the straps off my hydration pack, found a couple of stout sticks, and pushed the bone back in and splinted my leg and proceeded to yell for help for 3 hours as there was no cell service where I was. Eventually I was found went to ER and, as I suspected had a compound, displaced tib/fib fracture. They placed two plates and 19 screws in my leg and I just got my cast off and i'm entering my 7th week non-weight bearing with two more to go...your story has been an inspiration to me (having found it while lying in bed these last several weeks) and has been one of the many things helping me to get through which has not been easy as i'm a VERY active person. Thank you for sharing your story and continued good luck to you!

I jumped off my Kawasaki 450 mx bike mid air and landed and blew my right femur into 4 bits and fractured my pelvis 3 plates and 36 screws later, rehab snapped the plate as wrong size put in by the surgeon so had to have another 8hr operation to replace all metal work took a year off work to rebuild mussels and lots off mountain biking for tone off all the support mussels but then had a limp which took a year to walk correct to get rid off it.

    I feel your pain brother!!!!
I jus recently had a level 5 Tibial Plateau fracture and now I’m on my third week of recovery after a three hour surgery. The ortho surgeon also fixed my meniscus which was shattered during the fall.
The pain was unbearable at first.
Now the swelling is still present and I can only bend my knee to 90 degrees and it snaps and clicks when I bend it.
I scared that it will stiffen up permanently.
I will start therapy in a week.
The Doctor said “no” weight on my leg till after 6 weeks but said I can begin therapy asap.
Please tell me you’re leg is back to normal!!! And how long until you got full motion (if so)
By the way, I have six screws and a titanium plate at surgery to hold everything together.
Thank you for your advice and input in advance.
I also wish you lots of luck ahead and yes, I’m your new loyal subscriber brother🤙🏼💪🏼
