- Breonna Taylor would have turned 27 on June 5. In the early morning hours of March 13, the young EMT was shot and killed while police were executing a search warrant on her Louisville home. VICE News spoke to her younger sister, Juniyah Palmer, about the person her sister was and what it's like to hear people chant her name.

I lost my dad when I was 25 just like the reporter’s dad, and hearing them say how the world stayed the same... it’s so true. I remember walking out of the hospital like it was yesterday, and that’s EXACTLY how it felt.

Update: The prosecutors gave her ex a plea deal contingent up him saying Breonna Taylor knew he was dealing. He repeatedly told them she did not know. In the plea agreement they wanted him to sign it listed Breonna Taylor as a codefendant. The ex copied the plea agreement on his cell phone and sent it to her family. Her family released it to the press. The prosecutors are protecting the officers who murdered her not justice.
Prosecutors only offer you a plea deal so that they dont embarass you on trial..Apparently you haven't seen the surveillance photos of Breonna coming and going from the "traphouse" or read the JAIL recorded phone call transcripts?

I see people saying it was fake. Also saw that report taken down off FB. When I see something being censored, it makes me wonder why certain views are silenced.
I believe Breonna was a sweet, good hearted young lady who was involved with losers. Wrong place, wrong time. But my opinion is based on what’s fed to us. Only her bf knows the truth and the cops involved.

from what i heard is the police thought the apartment was where drug dealers were. her boyfriend (or husband idk) woke up and assumed it was burglars, and started popping off shots, then obviously the police fired shots and unfortunately killed breonna. If this is what truly happened, then both sides are clearly at fault. the police for using the no knock warrant and not announcing their presence, and breonna's boyfriend for popping off shots without asking who was there

There actually was a marine shot and killed in Arizona a few years back over a very similar no knock warrant. The color of your skin and neighborhood when it comes to these no knocks doesn't matter. All it takes is an incorrect address. He thought someone was breaking into his home. Grabbed an assault rifle and headed downstairs. Police gunned him down in his own home. This practice needs to end. Nobody deserves being shot in their own home while minding their own business. Pretty sure we fought a war over this type of stuff....

She was shot and killed after police took fire after executing a search warrant on a drug warrant for residence. The only justice the family will see is when her drug dealing, cop shooting boyfriend sees prison time for his list of felonies. Cops make mistakes, and they should be punished for them, but this isn't one of them. This is the type of thing that can happen when you lay up with a dope selling loser. It's called consequences, apparently black people should be free of all consequences to their actions because their ancestors once were slaves... or something.
Then it should be OK that you get shot if your neighbor is a drug dealer (and you probably wouldn't change your mind even if that actually happened). Bullets can ricochet, or they may mistake your households or apartments or whatever. Either way, cops make mistakes, they're just human after all 🤷♂️

agdamaster There’s nothing wrong with neighborhood accountability. Ones race “keeping it real” is another races “report to police”. I don’t live by drug dealers. I recommend you do the same.
