They seem to be confused on why Lu Xiaojun came back out for that last C&J. Lu has nothing to prove to us, but may still have something to prove to himself. You don't get to that high of a level without pushing past where most people think you should go. I like that he goes for it honestly. Hope this doesn’t sound rude but it’s more fun to watch a lift build the tension and wonder than to talk up until he’s already lifted it. It felt weird having to concentrate on what someone’s saying while watching a potentially very good matchup and not actually taking the lifts in at all

@@kaliningradtoczechrepublic8162 well first of all he has plenty of strenght and split jerk doesn't require any more upper body strenght, the elevation of the bar, the jerk, comes from the legs and lower body, youbare catching the bar with straight arms, not pressing it out

@@kaliningradtoczechrepublic8162 huh? Split jerk overall requires much less upper body strength, but more footwork/speed, better use of stretch reflex, or in some cases more leg strength, not upper body. Squat jerk requires both more upper body and squat strength. Lu arguably has the strongest upper body of any 81kg lifter... how many 81kg lifters casually do 100kg dips?

Is a "choice" on federation of China?Or is cause on structural body?Or is a question of numbers, every country can bring a tot on athletes and for this reason prefer bring the top weightlifters?

They have many, they just don't perform at the level of their lighter athletes and it makes more sense for them to send those with higher chance of winning. Ai Yunan is usually the top super in China, he's done 193/237 in international competition.
