  • Running my newly built Romulus at Don Witheridge 7 1/4 inch gauge railway at Hemsby,and the 7 1/4 inch Royal Scott.

    How good it is to have this film to be able to look back at happy days.
    Yes, Parklands (as it is now known) is still very much in use, also the bungalows are still available as holiday lets.

      Thanks for your comment,glad you enjoyed the old video,it's good to here that the railway and bungalows are still going, for me this was the best of both worlds for a family holiday and also the best miniature railway there is.I have an earlier video of the the railway which is not to good of quality but I might upload it,thanks for watching.

    Yes the gentleman was Geoff Nicolson he was at one point an officer of the midlands association

      Thanks for the info,I thought it was Nicolson but it was such a long time ago I was not sure,I do remember what a very nice man he was and it was a pleasures to talk to him,thanks for watching the video.
