Good video, guys. Very useful. Trying to come in under $1000 USD per month in Belgrade from next week, when I move there. Should be doable, only spending $10 per day, if cooking a fair bit.
Zeleni venac is central location, however the building is old, and the apartment is small and noisy. Maybe try New Belgrade, find some more spacious apartment near Danube or Sava rivers, it takes 15min by public transport to get to Zeleni venac if you want to go to the city centre. Bevil near Delta City has plenty of apartments on Airbnb, and Sava quay is near, if it's too expensive maybe Blok 70a then or around Hotel Jugoslavia.
If your $750 AUD pad was from AirBnB, do you remember which listing it was, or do you have a way I could contact the owner? I'd like to rent it. Thanks!
