@@hardwirecars even wilder stories here. Went to China's ningxia province once for Volunteer Service. The 2nd night at a local elementary school, I witnessed an aircraft of some sort falling from the sky, spinning uncontrollably. This aircraft was clearly on fire, the glow from the fire, though not bright as a military flare, illuminates a small half of the nightsky. While i can't tell for sure, i believe this aircraft was of military origin, the size of the aircraft is way too small to be commercial airliner, and civilian single seat aircraft is diminishingly rare in China. I did not see any parts separate from the craft, so all I saw was this aircraft, on fire, plunging toward the surface while spinning uncontrollably.
Unfortunately a small mountain blocked my view from the final moments of the aircraft, and i did not witness the impact, either.

The BBC offered all 217 (excluding the 371 children) of the final group work, but they did not accept the offer. Seven of these group has been caught selling drugs. They have since been released as the offense was seen as a cultural misunderstanding. One was arrested for kidnapping and rape, and also released. The member of the public who made the complaint was arrested, found guilty and imprisoned for hate speech. The released man is now standing for mayor of Rottingham.
