1:20 - just to point out if you add "--y" to the end of your "sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade", it'll do the update and upgrade without any prompting from you, until something important config wise pops up like if you were changing out your display manager or something and it wanted you to choose which you wanted as default. basically it tells apt "yes to all"

Gracias por darnos las herramientas Saludos (Bogotá. Colombia) muy frio.
Very good, if I saw your video earlier, it would help me save a lot of time
Thanks you very much for this video. I was almost shifting back to window but this video taught me that linux is far better than Windows . More over while installing some thing I gets error and it last for long that etc etc is occupied by processs 173888 somthing so I kill that process and enable it again and try to install the app and it works. This video made me used to the terminal app
interesting video, I am just missing the part that shows how do you use timeshift to restore your system, especially when GUI is not loading anymore.
Thank you Ksk Royal, this video is very useful.
Glad to hear that
Do you know of any way to enable windows like multiple-windows on the same screen and 2/3 finger touchpad gestures to zoom, minimize etc? Tried a few but didn't work on 22.04
Thanks a lot bro
I think this is the great content i ever watch, well honestly i think for beginner they will facing lot of issue when trying to convert their Operating system from windows to linux distro especially like ubuntu or debian, probably the main thing they face including me as beginner is when trying to run a windows software inside linux distro, even figure it out with wine sometimes it required a deep knowledge on it, but thank to your content video, now i know that there is other way to run windows software especially when you mention about IDM.
Good video. However the snap load times are significantly improved, since the week of the 17th of July. On my Ryzen 3 2200G Firefox load times are now between 5 and 1 seconds, dependent on the filling of the memory cache. For the next release more improvement are foreseen, like dividing the decompression over all CPUs instead of using 1 CPU.
agreed, And Thanks for the info!
It can load in 0 seconds but I won't be using it. It's not open source and NSA can insert an exploit there to watch us all. Flatpak or AppImage is the way for me.
@@linux4868 I mean it can't be done. The snaps are digitally signed by the developer and checked on your local machine by (the open source) snapd.
@@linux4868 open source can still be targeted by the NSA. Lol. Pegasus is an app that doesn't even need you to click on anything. NSA already spies on all phones, even if you clear off everything. Many don't even take out their mic and cameras, unlike Edward Snowden. If you're really worried, you should be using an open source VPN (maybe a paid source, like NordVPN, like me, if you are more or less good on what you do), Whonix, QubesOS, don't put your real identity on CZcams, etc.
@@linux4868 NSA can still exploit major services on Flatpak. NSA can install a backdoor into systems, and most people wouldn't be any the wiser.
wow, didn't know this had bleachbit thats so cool!
Thanks for the great videos
Our pleasure!
Useful video 👍, how is the experience on battery in the laptop which Ubuntu has been installed??
I tried ubuntu on Mac, the battery is not great. But TLP worked well for me atleast not making the battery drain faster.
thank you from China,It's very useful!
Awesome
Hi there, thanks a lot for the video (as well as the one for installing 22.04 alongside W11). I have one question, my dock-bar shows a faded rectangle around it after I resized it to a smaller version, any idea why or how to fix it. I'm asking cause this doesn't seem to happen to you. Cheers😉
try restarting its a glitch may be, stable version is out now try it. it doesn't have that issue.
@@kskroyaltech Actually, after watching your video I waited and installed the stable version, so I think it's not the case. Even after restarting the problem persist..., not a big issue of course just it would be nicer to have a cleaner look for the dock
@@kskroyaltech Found the issue, it was the blurring effect that caused the problem👍
@@overcraft3242 Yeah same happened to me
@@overcraft3242 glad to hear that.
Awesome video, any fixes for Mac Laptops where the backlit keyboard is not working after Ubuntu 22.04?
Bro I tried many ways even I had no luck. If I find a fix BackLit keyboard then Wifi wont work. I dont know what's wrong with Mac Hardware.
Great video! You forgot to mention Albert which is a very important tool to install right away.
Good point!
Thank you so much
Hi there, First I would like to thank you for what you are doing in this channel, it is very helpful, and secondly, I had a problem with dual booting windows 11 with ubuntu, so when I finished, ubuntu worked fine but when I try to open windows and after entering the password It tries to reload and a black screen appears without any graphics and just continue to reload without any windows open, but some notifications in windows appear and i can close them. I tried to turn the computer off and on, but it didn't work.
It turned out that the problem was in my flash where I found that it had viruses. So I formatted the device.
Thank you !
Hello - when I tried to install "Flatpak" per your video ( the last image is license agreement) and thats it. Will NOT allow me to continue and error message reads " some about cannot open tar. " I have to Ctrl C to end the perpetual script.
Hi
I just bought a used Thinkpad T470s. I noticed that it's not on the Ubuntu list of certified laptops list. Should I still attempt to install Ubuntu? Thanks all
Thank you very much very instructive video, I would like to know how you get rid of the errors that came out when you start the computer
Don't bother about boot log or errors during the boot unless if its not creating a problem from using GUI.
Thank you @@kskroyaltech
Thank you for a great video.
regarding the shortcuts, my ctrl button is not working. How do we fix this ?
isn't a hardware issue ?
how to fix the flickering screen issue after installing ubuntu 22.04 ?
TNX!!!!!
after i put this "sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade" say E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
i cant see anything in additional drivers..i want to change my driver which is either LLVM or ASPEED to sometthing better...can you help?
if i want to use xamarin that was inside visual studio (not visual studio code) what i must do? is that any visual studio compatible with linux?
Thank you , Thank you , Thank you 😊
You are so welcome
Thanks my ubuntu laptop now has a nice mac OSX feel
thanks for the video, and actually how many disk space will take for backup with timeshift ? coz i use 55gb for my dualboot ubuntu
Time Shift takes a snapshots of the System. mostly it is used to make a system backup Os Level. Lets stay you are trying some experimental things on your system, its always recommend to take a snapshot of the ROOT. This way after math if the system is behaving weird you Can use the previous snapshot to restore the system with working condition.
Hi ! if you could make a video about Cheese says "No device found" a problem about laptop built in camera not being usable in ubuntu.
Thanks!!!
Thank you
tks bro!

I can use my XP pen tab only in Xorg mode but not in Wayland? Any suggestions

The only problem with Firefox was that a Snap version of it was very slow at its startup. After several updates Firefox loads way faster and doesn't experience any issues. I don't think it's a good idea to use Chrome that sends every your gesture to Google)
Without your consent chrome will never send a data to google servers .. There are some tools to make yourself stay safe.. Chrome is Best for web developers . TBH Firefox is king. I got irritated with ubuntu shipped as snap. if I am using others Linux Distros I would use Firefox as default.
@@kskroyaltech Firefox 102.0.1 (Snap version) work very fast) On the other hand, you can always install FF from another sources - flatpak, for example.
@@kskroyaltech Thanks for video. Great and helpful content!
Can I use Photoshop, AutoCAD and other software in this os
This is awesome. But I am facing an issue. I just installed Ubuntu 22 and i want to enable delete confirmation popup but there is no such thing like Behaviour tab in the file. Can you please help me to fix this. Many Thanks!

What do you do to quit the status at 23:54, for instance? I get stuck in the terminal and I have no idea what to do to quit other than closing the terminal.
Pressing Q quits the status mode.
