Ontzettend bedankt :)
hello Mark love watching you painting and your voice is very soothing AND you are a great teacher and artist
Thank you so much 😀
I recognize that mountain. Table mountain in the Cape, South Africa. ❤
With a few magical strokes you have made waves! Such light touches to your painting and then mountains, rocks and waves appear! I only wonder how you get so much paint on your shirt! 🌊
Thank you so much 😀 I am inherantly a grot :D
Awesome 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice to see my old mountain viewed from Blaauberg beach😊Did you visit or is it photo referenced - you cant see foliage from that distance away..or at least nothing defined unless its a really clear day across the
I'll bet the finished painting is amazing. Have you ever done murals? You certainly have a way with water. Quite nice indeed!
Thanks so much. I've done murals in the past, not so much these days I'd rather stay in my studio and paint to be honest! :D :D
Hello Mark, love how it's so second nature to you...you make it look easy. Learning so much from all your videos. Love your Recipe Paint Book.👍 Thank you for sharing your amazing talent👏👏.

It's amazing how you manage to give transparency to the water🤗
Thank you! Cheers!
Love learning from you, you are wonderful with water. I think these colors are gorgeous 💜

No problem :)
I have been having trouble with shallow water and the shoreline suds. Thanks to your video you answered all questions and I have been able to correct my mistakes. I am very grateful to you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge with us
You are so welcome! Thanks for your kind comments :)
Love love how you paint!! Makes me want too!!! You make it look so easy though.
You can do it!
14:01: "Now with a big picture like this it's really easy to kind of get caught up in detail and things too soon, so I'm going to walk away from it in a second"...(keeps painting) LOL I love this painting I want to do this! All I've ever wanted to do is paint waves and create big ocean scenes. Thank you Mark. New subscriber! 😁
Hahaha you caught me! You're welcome!

Nelson Mandela must have stared at this view of Table Mountain every day of his incarceration on Robben Island. Thanks for a great tutorial.,
Thanks for your kind comments!
Love your painting tutorials, Mark. The paint brush you are using here could you please give some information as to size and material, please. I would love to buy the Micador brushes but shipping to US is rather high. You seem to use a flat brush that is stiff because you can hear it against the canvas as you paint. I would think that a synthetic brush would be softer and not make that sound against the canvas. Thank you!!
Hi, they are fairly cheap synthetic brushes, flats - that's my finger you can hear rubbing against the canvas :D
Hubby and I are doing a driving holiday from outer east Melbourne to Townsville sept/October….. are you still teaching classes in painting?
I generally do several workshops a year, however at that time I will be in between workshops (Esk in August and November in Fiji). I don't do any regular painting classes any more. You are welcome to call into the gallery on your way and if I'm there I would love to say hi! Alternatively we could arrange for a private class if that's something you're interested in let me know.
looking great - what are you actually painting on? Board? MDF? Masonite?
Thanks Kath! It's stretched canvas :D
👏👏👏🤙👏👏👏
Mark, I forgot to ask you about your Atelier Flow paints when I visited your gallery. Where do you buy them from, as nobody on the GC has them in stock. I have the interactive paints, but wanted to stay to Flow for large areas.
You can contact Chroma directly for your local stockists :) Online sellers are another option. Cheers
I really want to see you finish this painting. Will you finish it on video for us, please?
Sorry, this one has been finished and shipped - unfortunately my filmmaker wasn't there when I finished it!

No worries. All good. It was lovely.
Why would you want to put rocks in a beautiful surf location? ;-)
:D this one's a commission so needed to be realistic
@@ExploreAcrylics ok, I'll grant you this one... but next time: no rocks! ;-)
PS great stuff as per usual
You painting is great, however your manner of dress is so sloppy and indifferent it distracts from your painting precision.
Thanks so much for your kind comments - I like to get the most out of my clothes, I don't like waste :D :D :D
Well, then you have been successful for sure. That shirt is over.😁
Awesome 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
