I think why it costs so much per episode is because a portion was for paying off critics, and increasing the budget for marketing ...
Disney should fire everyone at this point.
Board members clean house, build from the ground up, and don’t put out any new content for a year or two until they can get their stuff sorted.
They have a legal responsibility to the shareholders and lying about profits for the purpose to defraud investors to maintain stock shares is a big no no.
Lucas is the second largest shareholder.
I don't think Disney is going to fire anyone. The people they have are doing just fine pushing the woke agenda. The company personnel are just following orders from the top. Until Disney decides to deviate from it's own agenda, don't expect better.

I'd wonder if it would because end of the day the way some of these Hollywood studio contracts are set all the data shows that it should be cancelled but because they do straight to oder X number of episodes until they reach that number the studios seem to lose less money by letting the contract play out rather than saying 4 episodes in just kill it because no seems to be watching.

I canceled Disney after they told me to "shut up--the Silver Surfer is female!" Been watching scenes from review videos, though, and "whoah" is this stuff utter garbage. I know first year creative writing students from 20 years ago who could write more interesting characters, scenes, and plot "profluence" than the people who worked on this show. It really is astounding, this drive to "reshape" Star Wars into something it never was and never can be: a lame soap opera.

Is for them to take a step back, STOP everything, and then do some actual research within the fandom and go back prior to their acquisition to see what made people love Star Wars, what was successful, etc.
Because it seems like Disney made the mistake of assuming that you could just slap 'Star Wars' on a turd and people would throw money at it. Sure, that would have been the reality... around the Prequels era, but afterward I think people had higher expectations.
