Great video as always. I am in mid Missouri fishing Harry S. Truman Lake most the time and primarily have used soft plastic jigs (Harms Lures) but have been using some handtied jigs recently with some great success!!!
Tie my own hair jigs but prefer plastics, easier to switch colors. Water temp here in southern NM is 50, to the north they're still ice fishing. We usually don't see the spawn until May, maybe April if it warms up. I have 2" of snow on my boat this morning lol. In the kayak I troll at times with either a beetlespin or underspin, sometimes a umbrella rig.
Hello ! You had let me know that it’s straight braided but what the color are the braided line please 🙏 Thank you so much for giving me all the information please 🙏

Trimmed, or 1.5" plastic Chartreuse, 1/24 jig tipped with a small minnow is my go to.They can't stand it. And I'm now using a bead above my leader swivel... You're right, it shows up much better... fishing in SC...good one again, thanks 🎣
@@crappiemoment be out in the morning! Temp was 59-61 Wednesday, so it's about ON... Normally I don't fish the weekends on Murray, but the Jet-Fleas and Party Barge crowd ain't out there yet 😂🎣🙏

Good morning ! Today is Saturday march 9,2024. Are you using straight braided fishing on that ACC crappie stix green series casting 7’6” spinning rod if so what are the name and size and color of that braided fishing line please. In this CZcams video are you casting for the crappies. I went and got me a ACC crappie stix green series casting 7’6” spinning rod. Which size and name spinning reel you would recommend me to buy and put on that 7’6” ACC crappie stix spinning rod please. I will be just doing casting from the bank with that 7’6” spinning rod only please. Thank you so much 🙏🙏
Not sure of the brand of braid. Glad to hear you got the ACC Crappie Stix. I'm currently using Okuma Rox 20 and Okuma Avenger 2500 and Kast King Kestrel 1000. Thanks for watching!
Have you tried the Jiffy Jig in the JJ25 color? It's a plastic crappie jig with hair at the end. JJ25 is white and chartreuse, killer combo. I use 1/24th in 6ft or less water and 1/16 in deeper water with your beed and splitshot attached. Love your videos.... From Lay Lake Alabama
Nice tip on northern part. 👍
🎣🎣💯💯

Like your videos…. I use crappie magnet easy to change colors. Do you have Power poles to keep your boat still or just rely on spot lock?
Very easy to change. No power poles. I have spot lock but don't use it too often. Mostly slowly cruise around. Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks! Crappie Magnet will get it done! 🎣
