Reclaimed Wood Project - Winter Home Decor 2019

In this video I use one piece of reclaimed wood to create these great wooden trees. They are the perfect winter decor for your fireplace or front porch.

In love with these trees! I really like to make things with pieces of wood and then glue them together. Such a nice rustic look. My hubby bought me Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus last year and they are nailed together with small pieces of drift wood. They are standing, Joseph has his arm around Mary with his staff in his hand and Mary is carrying baby Jesus in a blanket. Every piece is made out of drift wood, almost like it was sculpted with driftwood and tiny nails. Its a little over 2 feet tall and it's my very favorite piece of Christmas decor. I love it. I love wood period! Might have to give your trees a try, if I can find a little time. Things are getting busy for the holidays already. Have a great day. I love the idea of your nativity with glued together wood. There is a church nearby that has a similar (large) looking nativity, and every year I take a photo and wonder if I could make one.
