This is regular sugar you can use castor sugar well
Since it is anhydrous recipe it won't need preservative but it is supposed to be used in the bathroom so I will insist on adding a preservative

Nothing in particular lip scrubs are much more fine the face scrubs , lip scrubs also contains a lot of oils and butters whereas face and body scrubs can be a made a bit grainy
