Koven. is the production alias of 19 year old producer Max Rowat. Hailing from London, UK. Koven's tracks have been cropping up in the sets of some of the scene's biggest names. @kovenukMusic I was "cleaning up" my backup phone and thought ""wow, 36gb of music", let's go through it, and came across this oldie.... Had to doublecheck if it was the same "koven" because I completely forgot about this (and some other tracks from that era) :P

That feeling of discovering a new dubstep song and falling in love with it!
I fortunately first found this track whenever Max released that 4 track EP for free (legend), and I used to listen to this and the rest of the ep on loop. I think I listened to it in it’s entirety about 900 times awake, and probably another couple thousand when I slept.
The sense of space and depth and clever uses of distorted morphing is one of the best examples of the bridge between old dubstep, new dubstep, and the (at the time) newly emerging neurohop. Just mind blowing stuff, even now. Incredible time in history for electronic music
I love how half of the comments on UKF dubstep have terrible grammar to the point where I can't understand it.
