@ Barbie You should be able to buy them from any craft store. I've also seen them for sale on amazon. Just google the name 'clear plastic balls'. I think the one used in the video is 15 cm. I hope this helps.

I know you kept just saying "Amazon" as to where you got that big ornamnet. But, it is very difficult to find anything that size on there. Can you clarify as to how you found that? I guess it would be possible to cut the LED lights' wire, and solder it back together so the battery holder is in the object which is holding ball, while the wire runs through the bottom of the ball.
