How to Make a Colour Changing Crystal Ball - Magical DIY Halloween Decor

- In this 🌟hypnotically mesmerizing🌟 DIY video, I show you how to create your very own mesmerizing color-changing crystal ball. It won't help you see the future, but it is an oddly satisfying, magically alluring object that's great for Halloween decor or for your year-round witchy aesthetic.
I was inspired by the fascinating world of color-changing potion bottles. Be sure to check out @CookingandCraftChick who shares a metric duck-tonne of info on colour-changing potions. I've put my unique twist on their techniques by turning a dollar-store snow globe form into something magical. Your spooky friends will never guess that this is a Dollar Tree craft!
If you'd like to make your own, you'll need an empty snow globe, a pillar candle holder, glycerin or rubbing alcohol (whichever you prefer), mica powder (or loose shimmer eyeshadow), food coloring, and a few crafty things for decoration. I encourage you to dive into your craft hoard for inspiration!

But seriously, I was wondering if a cheapy little mixer inserted into the base and through the lid would really make it look magical. Sneakily flip the switch and watch the liquid swirl on "its own." I might even do this myself here in the next month or so.

@@icooley7391 Magnetic mixer is the way. @WickedMakers had a great vid explaining how they did a swirling potion. I wanted to try out a no-tech version because some people don't have access to mixers and such, but the mixed ones look super cool!
