I'm so glad a friend recommended that I do the audio version of this book. Trevor's reading of his own stories brings them to life so completely- the languages, the voices, and the tenderness that comes through in his most personal moments.... Absolutely amazing listening experience! Trevor, you're an incredible human!

Beautifully written, wonderfully read. I got the visual and the emotional aspect of every character as Trevor's voice brought to life.
I haven't been to Africa, but some of his tales were reminiscent of my life as an African decendant living in Jamaica.
Oceans apart, but your mom's parenting is no different from mother's I grew up witnessing.
I don't believe anyone could have done your book as much justice as you have with reading it.
I reiterate, Beautifully written, woderfully read!

Trevor is intelligent and well rounded! I loved his audiobook and I can’t imagine anyone narrating his book but himself. One thing I would say though I wish he didn’t use foul language in his audiobook

I love this book started and finished in the same day! It’s so insightful, inspirational, emotional, well written, and very well narrated. Great job . God bless you and your mother 😀

This is very deep! One of my children had to read it for a class. That's my first introduction to Trevor's book. I plan to read it this year, Lord willing.

I have been listening to your audio book 'born a crime' but the one I have been listened to was not your voice. how many more people have been the narrator of your book ? regardless if it was your voice or not or if they could pronouns the words or not I enjoyed it so very much. I will listen to it again, because some times I fell asleep and missed some of the portion. so to night it will be your night again "BORN A CRIME' is it out in GERMAN also ??
