+Addramyr Palinor I believe a lot of that is only visible to the spectator camera, It get a lower network priority than the actual players in the game.
+SBwingman It's because there's too many people on the server and the fact that having AI is bogging down the server. PVP/Life modes can have over 100 on the servers because there's no AI. With AI when you get to the 50+ range you start to get degraded server performance.
its so funny to see at the start when they are walking in a line, it looks so real and then you see them fucken rubberbanding all over the place ahahhaha
and thats why i love Beck ..he cares about community and i feel like hes bringing something new to BIS ...i played with him aswell and must say he is a great guy..willing guy to meet community and not just to hang out on forums where he does great job as well

When I was in, our helicopter would set down at three to four lz's before we dismounted and the opfor wouldn't know which one we got off at.
This is awesome, like live war with commentary. You definitely should upload more content like this.
(Next time, hearing the troops as you pass by could be nice.)
+Gadi Yosef If you love this kind of gameplay video, check out ShackTac Tactical and Dyslexci's channel. It's all like this. They take ARMA VERY seriously. They use all this kind of radio channel chatter too. Some videos last over 2 hours as you get to watch every user made mission from start to end. Awesome stuff !

Yeah the new stamina system isn't as good as the fatigue. You don't think anything with the stamina, when with fatigue you actually had to manage the fatigue.
This with commentary (excellent speaker and commentary BTW Vegas) makes for a good spectator game too.
Great to see Bohemia recognizing the whole other level of gaming in the Milsim community and hope to bring together more like minded individuals with their Units feature. Lovin it! Keep up the good team work. =)

I have a question. Do you guys in your regiment have EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) teams? And if you do, do you use them in smaller campaigns or just all in all depending on what the objective is?
All of these assets and units should have been included in Arma 3 by default in my opinion :)

Pity vanilla A3 doesn't have an large boats. These old ports / mods like LHD look dated. Other than some serious rubber banding - great mission.

Does anyone know of an active milsim unit that operates a recruiting server as well? (Basically server that's 24/7 up and has one of those co-op persisten maps where you have to spend over a week or so with others to clear the whole map)

Waiting to come back sometime and have amazing missiona with the rangers. 1:04:13 This is my only gripe with vanilla Arma. The smoke grenades. I love how they are effected by the wind, but I hate how weak they are compared to the RL counter parts. The in game version offers very little concealment compared to how the actually act
There is a bug with one of the mods currently witch is breaking smoke granades but usualy they are smoking off big area

I have been looking for one of these Milsim groups to join. i have had a hard time finding one that is organized like this but also is laid back enough to bare with a new comer to milsim and someone with little military background. if anyone has any hints on how to go about this please hit me up with a post. thanxSlow

But that's the whole point. No need to make mods. The devs would have taken care of everything instead of sitting and waiting for the community to do their job.
ShinyCloud 9 No. Not everybody enjoys MilSim, some people want more casual simulation or a instant action in Arma enveiroment. Other people play DayZ, some play Aŕma Life.
Arma is a platform for many different people to play on. The devs do their best to allow all those people to play all these absolutely different scenarios in one single game.
No, arma is a simulation since operation flashpoint, dayz/arma life and all that garbage come with mods.

Both ALIVE and CUP are an awesome addon for ARMA III, but i keep getting this error - "Addon 'CUP_Chernarus_Config' requires addon 'CUP_Chernarus_Data'". Chernarus won't load in the floor textures :( I downloaded and copy/pasta'd the Chernarus files from ALL IN ARMA pack and it fixes the error....but only until i next load up ARMA III...then the error returns every time ! Frustrating :(

Workshop,I believe the reskin for the ch53 was made by 21st rgt themselves so you cant get that but definetly go to workshop and search for "CUP Vehicles"

The game is relly laggy,reson I quit my realism group is because all of our missions would be on 15fps,I relly hope Apex will be worth the money and DX12 will fix the lag
More often then not this lag is due to the server not being strong enough. Arma 3 is a hefty game that requires a pretty expensive server to be crystal clear. Take shacktac and their server for example, it's entirely private and probably Costs a few hundred bucks each month, and it runs amazingly because of the hefty server it is they got.
I never played on shacktac but srsly bohemia needs to unlock fps like so its not locked to the server fps or do something to fix it
yeah I know all that but common arma we deserve that after all Apex DLC is more expensive than the game so it better be fixed

+Droid15243Z Yeah. sounds like usually everything runs fluently, which is not the case. Bohemia just always seems to handle the problems with the game but doesn't actually care about community problems. Its all about money. Lots of efforts get into DLC and buy-able updates, but no attention payed to gamebreaking bugs and glitches (glitch through walls, compass, AI stuck in alarm mode etc. etc.). there are bugs which resist since the alpha phase. The only guys which do a good job are the modders. They care at least.

+Karakas Not all vanilla weapons need replacing. The fact that the M14 DMR is in several variants by default and through the Marksman DLC makes getting a M14 DMR mod redundant. Even though I have a M14 mod that adds 3-4 variants that AREN'T in the vanilla. Some vanilla weapons are also quite enjoyable to use. The Stoner LMG is probably one of my top 3 choices for a LMG.

Dear bohemia, can you start fixing some existing bugs before thinking on doing anything else? it's beyond me how you watch live a helicopter or any aircraft model for that matter performs a flying drill, and yet behaves so badly and barely there's any flow to its movement. obviously, no one is saying anything abotu it. utterly embarrasing.
please, if you intend on portraying the game as something that will be visual pleasent to watch, invest more money and resources on fixing existing stuff like that.
i can't wait for that part when you video a vehicle driver or a mounted machine gun being operated by a soldier.
+yos kor This stream isn't a good example to use to complain about issues. As the spectator cam was lagging because of the priority list on the server. Personally I don't see a problem with the model of the helicopter movements, though the combat of them could be a little bit better, as the attack choppers don't engage personnel unless directly told too, whereas the Ghost Hawk would engage personnel willingly. They tend to avoid attacking other vehicles and rightfully so as they aren't built for that.
