    Also have been looking at that system,but it would seem to me that your bleeder screws should b on the top of the caliper,not on the bottom,because air naturally goes up.now that I think about it,every motorcycle,quad,snowmobile,car and truck I have bleed the brakes on,the bleeder is always on the top.i will have to install the system on my baja and check it out.does look way more effective than the cable system I currently have.

    • @jonesq26
      @jonesq26  Před 2 lety +1

      On this set up you are not going to get all of the air out but most of it, if the bleeder screws are at the top its going to be very messy when bleeding the brakes I have tried both ways and this one works for me.

      this specific kit likes the feed line in the top position, i have it myself and works better on that position. i notice the lines dont bend too much on top, and seems to be more protected.

    • @jonesq26
      @jonesq26  Před 4 lety +1

      I run mine like that so my fluid lines are more towards the top of the caliper and not at the bottom of the caliper because the lower the lines the easier it is to damage the line so that lessons the repairs and they work just fine and when I bleed my lines to get rid of the air all of the fluid runs out of the bottom instead of the top and flowing everywhere, thanks for the comment!

  • @gman7858
    @gman7858 Před rokem +1

    I would think the calipers need to be reversed?? The bleeders can’t be on the bottom? The air would be trapped at the top of the caliper? Just like a car? If the bleeder is at the bottom you cannot bleed the air out of the system??

    IMPORTANT; Dont use automotive brake fluid if you can avoid it. Sure, it works however it also highly corrosive to these sensitive brakes. They will break down seals, orings and all the rubber/plastic pieces that are used in the system over time. They sell hydraulic fluid made by the RC conpany FG. Use this stuff instead. Trust me, i found this out the hard way. Check out the links.Specially made for hydraulic brakes in RC cars.
