This is the kind of fan work that people wish the adaption could be. Just know that your ability to animate is just as amazing as your ability to analyze works

I don't care what anyone says, the moving parts in this made me realize how much I'd want to see a Punpun anime. It's crazy how with just some ambience (2:15) you could breathe so much life into the story.
@@absurdj_ I don't think of things as "ruining the series". If they make an anime, and it sucks, the manga will still exist. I can just choose to believe the anime doesn't. I'd rather someone try to make a good anime then for one to never exist at all, but I agree that it is hard to translate and you'd need a pretty passionate director to do it any justice.
@@bradleycoates6297 but you are not the entire fan base. by "ruining the series" i do not mean ruining it for everyone that already loves it, i mean ruining it for everyone who's introduction to it was that it was recommended to them by netflix as they were scrolling down netflix. right now if you stumble across oyasumi punpun it is nothing short of a masterpiece, if there is a cheap adaptation of it, it's name can be tarnished by that animation.

I don't particularly care if a bad adaptation puts someone else off watching something either. I want to see an anime because I want to see it, not because I want the fanbase to see it. I don't care if the fanbase sees it or what they think of it. I don't mind the risk of a bad adaptation if it means a potentially good one.
